I’ve not watched this since it aired but this was one of the best k drama’s of 2018 imo. I was literally at the edge of my seat every single week I was absolutely addicted to this show. There hasn’t been a K drama that has had a hold on me since then it was honestly amazing.(The last few episodes were a bit trash though ngl)
Yeah I was not impressed with the ending at all I’d rather see be on her own then get back with him. He played mind games with her manipulated her and they just miraculously get back together after all is said and done. Nah, that to me was a huge cop out imo and it completely ruind Nabi’s character development because she literally just got out of one toxic relationship and ended up in another one so it completely defeats the purpose.
I am at a loss for words idk what I was expecting but it certainly wasn’t that. All I’m gonna say is if you’re expecting an in-depth storyline you ain’t getting that TRUST ME.
When this show first came I wasn’t too keen on watching it because I read the little summary and thought yeah this isn’t for me. But I got bored one day and actually gave it a watch and thank God I did because I would’ve missed out on all this goodness this is by far one of my favourite J dramas of this year. I don’t usually like slow burners because they tend to get immensely dragged out but the pacing of this was really great and the storyline and plot was chefs kiss 8.5/10 from me.
It reminds me a lot of my secret romance with the cringy music and the cliche scenes but bare in mind that this was filmed 3 years ago so it catered to that time where fluffy romance dramas were a thing so I’m going to give it the benefit of doubt on account of that.
Psychological thrillers are usually not my thing but this was absolutely brilliant I was literally by the first episode and I can’t wait to watch season 2 the show was spectacular don’t sleep on Japan they’re coming with some serious heat.
I think Episode 11 was one of my favourite episodes to date it was so emotional yet so funny and light hearted at the same time the writers did a tremendous job with this episode they should be proud of themselves.
Y’all need to stop being childish in the comments and leave Eunwoo alone. It’s embarrassing reading think pieces about him, I mean look everyone is entitled to their own opinion but please be respectful about it and not slander someone’s name.
