Pei zhen really gave me mixed feelings 😂 unexpectedly, his character is the one that leave a lasting impression for me. He's so annoying, but also very pitiful. If only he had courage to leave that house away from his father, i think he'll see that he have so much more potential than he thinks.

Tbh i di think the FL is a bit too much, but then its because she's like that that able to bring ML out of his cave. To be fair, ML speaks so little if he's with normal person they might not end up together 😂 they actually compliment each other so well im kinda hooked. And the secret smirks 😭

I really love how the plot is really light-hearted, heal me after watching all the heavy ones. It could get a bit cringe, but I'll just 🫣 and soaked it in 😂 and the ending is very nice tied up, so all in all, it becomes one of my favorites

Besides, that is your pov. The major plot point from what im seeing is that she got transported in a script, trying to survive and change her fate. Plus, ML did not have intention to kill her at beginning even in the og script, he decided that after they met. And its a pretty reasonable move, i wouldn't want an anomaly disturbing with my plan either, even worse, one that can cause me my death.

And as I said, i don't entirely hated her. FL had prejudice against ML even before transmigrated, which she overdoing it a bit. Kinda like case fixing, since she decided he is evil, whatever he did is evil. That part of her is suffocating for me :)

This drama makes me realize unbelievably stupid, self justified and full of assumption kind of FL is really terrible 😂

I don't particularly hate her character but her trust in her own judgement without fact check is really testing my patience🙏 i know her over confidence came from "knowing" the whole plot, but she also knows nan heng backstory so idk why its so hard to connect the dot. This kind of attitude is why people get slandered all the times

Im on ep 8, can someone pls tell me if she'll have character development or will she continues being unfathomably stupid 😭 because i love how comedic the drama is

I'm glad someone actually said it out. Tbh i think she is rather nice for someone who is in her position. And based on her core character, she has so much potential for growth. It could be personal preference, but characters that have flaws is much more endearing and memorable

Thats kinda how I feel too, of course BJT is closer to manhua or novel Sang Yan in TFF, but the overall vibe is not the same with HL Sang Yan. I just took it as a story of its own and still enjoy the drama too

I just finished the drama and i really hope they will make the 2nd season. There's too many unresolved issues that needs answers. And if there is one, i wanna see more character development for princess lin an since i think her character has a lot of potential to grow. She is sheltered but she has guts, probably the most gutsy in her family 😂. I wonder if she'll get along with huaqing one day

And i wanna see the face of flowery astronomical bureau guy too

I never read the novel and I'm glad i didn't, because based on your spoilers, novel XQA doesn't sound like a great guy, just a pervert without sense of loyalty, disgusting even 😑

This is one of the most anticipated drama for me because I like both leads in another dramas. But even their sweet moments can't help to continue ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

There's a few things i just do not fancy and im here to rant cuz im frustrated (⁠─⁠.⁠─⁠|⁠|⁠）

1. I think the concept of strategist ML was not executed properly. He's concept feels lukewarm; did he became a fool because of love?
2. I like the FL character, she's smart, prideful but not arrogant, i like her banter with ML, except the plot didn't do her justice. Why can't she can't move on on SML and anything relevant with that guy. Let's say if its true that ML had liked Ms Qin fr, that did not justified of her to have a companion for 17 years. And because of that accumulated affection, she's lenient on SML. I do understand why ML always insecure. He always in the dark anyway. Besides, they all have part in killing her, so at least be fair about it. How easy for SML to sway her many times kinda make me disappointed. Tbf, its pretty clear that her brother is already at the edge of sanity when he said he's tired. It wasn't what he wanted but his mom n sister keep on pushing for it.
3. Im not mad about SML as he is pretty justified to be like that. But im tired of his moment with FL. Its so long man.

But this is how i feel, the drama still have comedic scene that i like, i also love most support characters especially Tong Ye. I would recommend people to watch it first cuz it could be a hit or miss.
