Ngl I read the letter with shock and disbelief. I had always believed in basic moral decency and had always defended the co-star whenever people bring this endorsement thing up. Now that ZZH himself has sorta confirmed it, I’m just…shocked.

If that’s true, then that’s certainly baffling.
But i still go back to the point I stated earlier, if it’s not ZZH using the account or if he did not authorize it’s use, he would have spoken out in one way or another. Otherwise it means something really bad may have happened to him which id rather not consider.

I feel you. I was also pretty doubtful just like you some weeks back but the recent posts on his Instagram page pretty much sealed the deal for me.
Now I look at things like this in a more level headed way and I’m able to somewhat spot these so called “evidences” that have negative intentions.

For the video, I can’t believe what I see. Like you have rightly mentioned, we saw from 813 that people can easily fabricate contents online. I really wish I had a WeChat so I can download the said picture and check the metadata myself.

As for why I changed my mind to believe that ZZH is truly back after seeing his update on Instagram, it’s because the alternative to that is that his ig page has been hijacked right?
Now I ask, how would a living person’s ig page be hijacked for such a long time and the said person will not in one way or another scream out to the public? The only way this is possible is if some really dangerous harm has befallen ZZH and his family (I pray not). I’d rather not believe that. And even if that were the case that they’ve been harmed, LXZ’s business account on weibo or someone would have said something for sure because that is not something that can be hidden.
Afterall, his mother managed to get word out before in the past about how the 813 events took a bad toll on their family.

Metadata can be altered. It could also be possible that there was some error with the source data during the compression.
It’s really not cast in stone and can’t be taken as proof of anything.

If the picture or video was sent directly from ZZH’s device to someone’s personal ID now, then the information can be accurate if the receiver downloads the file as a document

It’s indeed sad that there’s a lot of argument happening on this page. I feel awful about it too and I’ll like to apologize to fans of ZZH who just wanted a peaceful place to support our dear fighter.

I tried so hard to ignore those toxic comments because I wanted Zhang Zhehan’s page to be a peaceful one. But at the same time, I don’t want the page taken over by misinformation, it’s been a real dilemma. But seeing recently how hard ZZH has been fighting to come back, I can’t just fold my hands and sit by as his fan and watch someone slander and make mockery of all his efforts.
