This drama is populated by characters who are having a hard time both in their professions and lives. You will see how they grow through their hardships and how they find healing in the end. If this sounds like something you can face, then you'll be richly rewarded in the end. But if you want to watch something as an escape, to help take your mind off your troubles, then this drama won't be a good fit.

Well, he is still his kid's dad, and the woman is still his kid's mom. He, being the good person that he is, would try to be as amicable as he can be in this new separate arrangement. But the fact that he himself is not in any of the pictures is very telling.

The subbers completely messed up on that translation and caused unnecessary confusion and angst in viewers.

You know what's so special about this drama? It gets even better the second time around, especially if you understand the many many signs and symbols planted by the director as well as all the things not said but shown. Their fan site has a ton of analyses, and I guarantee that if you love it the first time, you would love it even more the second time after you read some of the excellent things people have written about it. We may not know if they have divorced or not, but they have clearly separated. He no longer refers to her as wife, only as his "kid's mom." To me that is a big clue that they are no longer together and divorce is only a matter of time. And that ending is definitely a promise for more. Have you been to the My Ajusshi fan site?

I know what you mean. What is up with that? There is no skinship between the main couple either, which is understandable given their current state, but they could have given us a little bit from their younger days. But I am sure we'll get something between JY and BY though.

It's not a frivolous watch for sure, but you might find yourself surprisingly enjoying the more mature, darker, gritter vibe. And it seems that you like good drama OSTs and for that you definitely won't be disappointed here.

Just read your review on Miss Korea. Thank you for putting in words what I, myself, want to shout out to the world. It seems that many who do give it a real chance at watching do end up loving it. But, yeah, problem is not many even give it a chance. So, did this end up being on the very top of your favorites?

Yes, he is Kang Woo's older brother and he resents that his brother chose to work for Vivi instead of for him. He's been mad at his brother since very early in the series and continues to be hostile to him. I totally think some of his motivations is personal. The rest, well, there are definitely people out there in the business world who cannot be satisfied until they have crushed every single competition no matter how small.

The romance is definitely central, very very well done, sweet, and realistic, but it is not the only thing going for this drama. It's more about the resilience of the human spirit shown through love and friendship. You get the requisite romantic love, but also love from family members, mentors, and teammates. All that is very heart-warming.

Yes, it's so deep, even now after the crowning of winner, that I am afraid the writer will run out of steam or space to give us a satisfying conclusion.
