I would love an ending like that. Too me one of the weaknesses of the original. Though I love that version. I can3stand those types of endings. No matter how tragic her parents lives were I feel like they had the happier ending than she did.

This feels more like a pilot to an in going TV show. It's not like Train to Busan and I wasn't expecting it to be. I love post apocalyptic survival movie, and books, and TV shows with/without zombies.

Feeding people to the guys wife and child reminded me of an ep of the Dead Nightmare web series on Youtube. Least they didn't do the canabalism cult like ZNation, Rain, TWD and Telltales WTD. Well at least yet
