Nice review. It certainly is nice drama. I am glad I got to watch it because otherwise I would have missed on such great characters like Jung Hwan, Bora and ..well actually all of them. For me, it was kind of a shock to know who she ends up with because I was too fond of Jung Hwans Character. And while I understand why Deok Seon chose Taek and like that ending I wouldn't say that Jung Hwan was ashamed of his feeling. It is just his nature that he can't be so open about his feelings. Thats how I would like to see it.
I agree with you that this show isn't something to binge watch because they are so long. (I did both ;D I watched about 10 episodes and now I am watching one episode in 5 days or so)

I don't think that women in korea are more accepted if they are fat or have a brown face. And I really feel this needs to change and also portrayed in dramas. Why do all women have to have a specific size to be considered healthy?. Even fat women can be strong and healthier than a "perfect, beutiful" and "slender" woman.
Moreover, isn't it kind of horrible if you give a whole nation one ideal type? I would want to see actresses with various featuers like being fat or maybe even with a scar. But this is a concern for the whole world and not just korea.
However, I agree with your saying that women clubbing or being tomboyish are accepted. I feel that there needs to be more psychological education than people forcing to change themselves to fit in the society. I would actually appreciate it if they show more critisism towards their stereotyps and let go of this historical "idologies". I mean through freedon comes power right? :)
Side note: I read a time ago that there was a "fat" korean woman who wanted to be a plus size model in amerika but she wasn't fat enough in amerika. So she started her own magazine with herself modeling and looked so confident and stunning. I think we can hope that there will be a positiv change in the future regarding such problems :) ^^

Finished it and foung it enterteining though I didn't understand everything. The chemistry between the couple was soo cute. Another thing I didn't get why the gf was so violent.
