Ashes of Love's version was more emotional and painful imo, the entire mortal arc was done very well
I agree, there was no 'the FL getting bullied because of the attention the king gave her' and I really appreciated that. It was probably my favorite arc in the whole show

I think it's because he obviously heard the rumours about TTJ and YXW. And as for YB, when they were in sheng, everyone thought TTJ liked her. Maybe he thought he improsoned them cause thinks his got a screw loose? Besides, he knew he was going to die so he'd rather take a gamble. But what I don't get was why didn't TTM try to kill the both or at least only YB? Because his goal was to kill someone TTJ loved. So why would he kill YXW, the one he thought was least loved, instead of YB, the one he thought was most loved?
