It depends on what screenwriters decide. It's hard to predict how they will end it. But for now I think it would be better if he (king) transforms into women cause poor Bong-hwan was such a womanizer and I can already see he would struggle with his feeling toward the king if he became women. It will be easier for him if in this option king will reincarneted into women.
