I’m so mad. Everyone saying it’s on iQIYI, but not apparently in my area (northern Europe). Using VPN only shows me it’s ”reseved” even though the premiere date is November 28th. Argh!
This series was such a highlight of my week. Incredible series, with a top notch cast and story. Thank you for everyone involved, what an amazing series!
How, wonderful, I just read that Han is starring in the remake of Ang Lee’s The Wedding Banquet, with Bowen Yang, Kelly Marie Tran and Lilly Gladstone ❤️.
The story was very basic, but Fort and Peat were so good and worked so hard with the soso material. Especially Fort has developed so much since LITA and Peat’s acting was also VERY good. The couple’s chemistry in unmatched and I wish they will get a better story next time, if they will continue to collaborate. So, story (Mame) = meh, the acting = VERY good.
This is SO good. I keep marveling every week how good this series is. Meen and Ping’s acting has improved by leaps and bounds and the story is really good yall! Also, Frank was a really wonderful surprise. His acting is also improved so much! I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting much when this series was announced, but it has been such a pleasant surprise. Also, I adore the grandma ❤️
I was ready to drop this after episode 1 but am glad I gave it another chance. Second episode was better and I was less frustrated with Ryan. I’ll gladly keep watching on.
Well, this was a wonderful surprise. When I saw the trailer on Netflix I was SURE that the series wouldn’t live up to it, but boy was I wrong. I loved the FL and the over the top acting from all the contestants was so much fun and the main couple really did have a good chemistry. Top notch production!
Perfect series that never dragged, was entertaining and romantic. 12 ep was the perfect length for this so there weren’t any ”filler” episodes. Well done everyone involved!
I’m loving this so much! I adore the original version but I like that the Thai production decided to make it their own version and not blindly following the original, even though the main story is the same. It’s so sad that broadcast hassle will lessen the inter viewership. Glad I have a VPN and can watch it still. I just hope they will be able to get into an agreement and get a broadcasting contract later, so we could watch it on Viki or some where else, and support the cast and crew.
This is hands down one of the BEST GMM series. I mostly watch their BL series, but this is so good! I have to admit that I was surprised to see that the writer and director are both men, because they tackled so many issues concerning girls and women really well and with so much empathy and honesty. The cast and the charachters they play are so good and diverse. The storytelling is funny, heart warming and I was evenly laughing and crying during the series.
Also, the cinematography is so good! I loved the party scene, where Alex was drunkenly tottering around and how that was directed! Also the soundtrack is amazing!
This was so much fun. I just keep laughing at the comments calling the FL a slut for liking sex. You people need to lighten up, seriously. So refreshing to have a life loving, kick ass FL in stead of a timid Mary-Sue, and I LOVE that the ML doesn’t think that having a healthy sex life is demeaning the FL. Loves the couple so much!
”This is so bad”, I though and still kept on watching. ”The acting is SO BAD” I thought aaaand still I kept on watching. ”Thank got it’s over!” I thought… why did I watch it?
I keep upping my rating for this series weekly. One of the rare series that keep me on my toes and waiting anxiously for Sundays. Everytime the end credits roll in, I scream from frustration!
