I've been waiting for this lakorn for such a long time, but unfortunately, the trailer didn't impress me at all. Of course, I'll still give it a chance and see how it turns out. On the other hand, the trailer for "Empress of Flames" really impressed me! Now I'm actually looking forward to that one even more.

Their chemistry is through the roof and they look stunning together! Honestly, how can someone not see that? I’m so relieved they threw the original novel's plot out the window. The book was way too toxic and brutal, it would have been impossible to watch. So glad we got this version instead!

I’m watching "The Lament of Autumn", and I’m really enjoying it so far! I used to feel pretty indifferent toward Xu Ruo Han, but she’s really caught my attention in this one. She and Chen Lei make a gorgeous, charismatic duo, and their chemistry is impossible to miss. Her hatred for him, his interest in her, and his possessive streak make their dynamic so compelling. Judging by the trailer, things are going to get pretty toxic—and now I can’t help wondering: after everything she’s been through, will she really end up falling for him? Is this going to be a case of Stockholm syndrome?

Seriously, lowering the rating just because the ending didn’t give you a wedding, babies, and every other possible piece of fluffy romance? They ended up together — that was pretty clear. What else did the ending need to prove?
And I honestly don’t understand all the complaints about the age difference. Wu Jinyan is only 36 and she looks fantastic. She and Chen Zheyuan are just six years apart, yet some people talk about it as if there were a 20-year age gap between them. Would it really have been better to cast some 17-year-old actress who can barely act just because she looks younger? And then, oh God, the actual age gap would have been more than ten years. 😂
The drama itself is genuinely good. The cast did a great job, the actors deserve credit, and the story is absolutely worth watching. If you’re thinking about starting it — just watch it and form your own opinion instead of letting people’s complaints about the ending or the actors’ ages put you off.

*Overdo* was heavily promoted and hyped, while this drama barely got any promotion at all. I agree that its rating is unfairly low. The actors are doing an amazing job and really deserve more recognition. I'm currently on episode 29, and from what I understand, the upcoming episodes might disappoint me... 😅 Still, the drama is genuinely interesting to watch, and the cast has done a fantastic job. Definitely underrated!
I’m still finishing "Royal Engagement", and it’s already a little disappointing to see so many reviews saying that they messed up the ending. I really hope it won’t feel quite that bad to me. But the actors are doing a great job — I genuinely enjoy their performances and the overall atmosphere of the drama. And I’m already getting ready for the next drama with **Jin Yan and Miles Wei — Nirvana in Fire**. Judging by the teaser, it looks like it’s going to be really exciting 🔥 I just hope the writers don’t somehow manage to mess things up again along the way 😂

My biggest C-drama wish is a *Story of Kunning Palace*-style romance starring **Chen Zheyuan** and **Bai Lu**. They would be the perfect on-screen couple. Of all the Chinese actors and actresses, this is the pairing I want to see in a romantic drama more than any other. ❤️
