He is the Crown Prince the 2nd ML who hates being compared to the ML (which is Pei Youan) he also falls in love & becomes obsessed w/ the FL (which is Zhen Jiafu) he later marries Zhang Tengfong (which is the 2nd FL) for political reasons she loves him but doesn't love her so it's basically one-sided/unrequited on her part so overall he only uses for her status.

Yes sadly China is VERY strict w/ their rules/laws regulations editing takes at least a year to do even if it passes censorship & gets a distribution license the network won't air it right away since they are scheduled to air other dramas too. They also have to plan an investment promotion for the cast & figure out a monthly time slot whenever they decide to broadcast it.
