I have read the novel myself I would say it's more like an OE imo & the novel is way too short it's very disappointing how they ended it I really wish they could've added so much more by finishing like they were supposed to, as for the writers they will change the script due to censorship the thing is we don't know if this drama will actually have a HE/BE/OE.

Whilst I do agree about the huge age gap it's too late for that there's really nothing we can do they have been filming for a while now the contract was already signed otherwise there would've been severe consequences she might get blacklisted by the platform if she backed out. It's technically not her fault since her agency, her parents & the production team convinced her to take this role. Of course obviously there will be no kissing involved only hugging, cuddling & holding hands type of skinship.

I agree let's just wait until December if Zhou Ye is still the FL then that's amazing for her if not then she would have many offers for her anyway whatever she chooses I will always support her regardless as for the ML's whoever they are I'll fully support the actor & production team's decision too 👍

Ao Ruipeng is about to start filming his new project My Queen, My Rules so I don't know if he will actually take this role as for Li Yunrui is still filming Tigers Sniff the Rose until February 2026 so I don't know if he will also take this role either, we can only wait to see if other rumored ML's are able to take this project or not as for Zhou Ye she is still filming Red Dance Shoes so we can only wait after she wraps up of what her next project will be since rumors can change constantly

I can't say for sure since I haven't read the novel myself but after reading the synopsis it looks like it could be if the script for the drama is as good compared to the novel I know there will be some changes due to censorship so all we can do is hope for the best w/ this new project for the both of them 🤞
