Chill out, no one is using the alp's characters nor alp for promotion or whatever it's and won't do any favors to this drama but indeed no one to blame or was it on purpos there is not enough information about this drama and the plot is still a kind of mystery, but all that was known is it's adapted from a novel which is a sequel for alp that continues Tianqi and Yuemi's story and written by the same writer!!!. This has been the case since the start of filming and again due to lack of infos + the fact that the novel is still ongoing this rumor kept spreading but after the trailer" that was published a few days ago" and the information from some official accounts on Weibo, it seems that they did not have copyright of alp nor even the names of the characters, and some accounts here and there are trying correcting the misconception that has spread so that no one will be disappointed because it is not the story of Yuemi and Tianqi anymore, but another original story.

The main point is they didn't get alp names according to some copyright issues so there's no tianqi and yue mi thier immortal form is called instead xingyue and jingyuan

I don't have much depth with historical cdramas that include these scenes, I mean, I only started watching them this year. All I have about Chinese dramas are cheap idol dramas on YouTube so I don't really know how the rest of actors did in these scenes. They made me wonder what they looked like? Especially the veterans and the big names, or are these double standards just directed towards Bailu? especially since Chinese actors have a great reputation of "faking" (I mean no offense to nobody and they have great actors too but most of them are already known for not doing the bare minimum for their career and depending on photoshop and editing instead, all they have to do is look pretty, get good angles, nice makeup, and then add heavy filters🙂)

They reduced her role somewhat bc of eps limit as she was supposed to leave the capital and focus on building her own business, then return with power and authority in her hands, she was supposed to be the one who brought back yl family and saved the princess and other things forgot abt them

OG was in 2022, I can't say it was really good at the beginning although tteotm was a hit but it came w much hate. I'm thankful sokp did her well ( although it came outta nowhere w no promotion and fix date they literally drop it few hours after surprise announcement) and i guess it was good for both zlh & bl ( he didn't get that focus on mjty ) prying for sokp get more recognization and achievements
