Yes he killed his queen because of jealousy. But then he regretted what he had done and was painting queen pictures. (Episode 3 or 4 I think ) And he died in regrets. That's why he became a Grim Reaper. Because he committed great sins but before dying he was very ashamed.

Well everyone has different eyes. And if you want something thrill or mystery try watching something else because those geners are not included in this drama as you see above. So don't blame this drama because of being heartlighted! It's about how goblin solves his immense grudge and solving injustice about his death and peace. Nothing more.
