It started like a cool horror show and ended up being a fantasy action drama. Shitty seasons 2 and 3. And what was the point of the priest and why bringing eun yu's brother back to make him an emotionless character with no personality, that was so boring.

you r wrong cuz they r always portrayed as bad guys and they end up miserable or not able to move on with life. They always receive some kind of punishment but when the female character cheats she has a reason that makes people empathize with her (like she fell in love with some1 else or she was lonely because her husband didn't take care of her or her husband was a violent piece of shit) and she has her happy ending. Female infidelity is glorified and male infidelity is demonized and punished.
This drama is getting bad reviews because the husband is the one who is cheating, if it were the other way around the affaire would be celebrated, justified and encouraged. Anyway I understand why he cheated and I hope the writer doesn't use his infidelity as an excuse for the FL to have an affair with the simp SL. Kdramas should let the male cheater get away with cheating for once.
so it is ok for herto have an affair but not for her husband? Hell no. Why every kdrama is fixated on demonizing male cheaters and romanticizing female cheaters? I've never seen a single kdrama where the male cheater is not a horrible person
