In the novel that this drama is adapted from, ML didn't even appear until chapter 30 or so. The drama made improvisation and WL appear from the start. If they add more ML scenes and cut off other scenes, it will be like destroying the novel. That's what happened with WRTW script. Novel fans won't like that.
