1 thing I learn when I started watching costume dramas. Don't use reasoning to understand the story. Just enjoy the story flow. Its fairytale just like Cinderella, SnowWhite and etc. I usually stay away from costume dramas, as I can't stand their CGI and 'doesnt make sense' storyline (with exceptions). However, Legend of ShenLi has good CGI and I love the badass FL story.

Based on Ep 7 trailer, does anyone knows who is Kim Min Ji? I tried to check the Cast photos but couldn't find it?

i fast fwd from ep 12 onwards. It got draggy. It was so good in the earlier episodes. I guess the 8.6 ratings goes to PMY and not so much on the storylines esp towards the end.

Yes. I went and watch AMA after WOL. He's carry his role very well. But i feel his chemistry with JT is the best so far among all his FLs.

I watched Xu Kai in She and her Perfect Husband and Jing Tian in Rattan. Not quite a fan of them despite these dramas. Now, I'm a BIG fan of them after watching WOL. Love their chemistry!!! The story + main leads make this drama worth re-watching.

The repeating flashbacks is getting very draggy.......

All the actresses are beautiful in their own way. Just that, when i first see the FL with the ML, I can immediately see the age diff and I'm an overseas viewer. FL is beautiful for her age, but China has so many other actors to choose from who would be more compatible with the FL. The ML does look a bit young...... Anyway, that's my personal view. I LOVE Xu Kai with Jing Tian in Wonderland of Love and their age gap is 7 yo. Nothing against any actors or actresses. Let's close this thread for now. Thank you.

Having mixed feelings if I want to watch the rest of the episodes from Ep 35 onwards or just dropped it to save myself from misery. NO viewers would want to watch a whole 40 episodes only to be handed with a sad ending. Life is already miserable enough. We need fairy tales.... come on Scriptwriter!!!!

Anyone knows if they will release a Special episode to u-turn the death of the main leads? eg. they somehow manage to trick everyone and are living happily ever after elsewhere with their 2 kids. LOL.

I saw the trailer for this. Understand the girl is suppose to be sick in this show. However, I find that the ML looks more sick than the FL???

I saw the BTS for both SBMS and TLP. In TLP, XZ guided Ren Min on some of the scenes whereas for SBMS, can see he respects BBH who had been long in this industry. He is indeed talented but very much down to earth.

BBH and XZ carry their roles very well. So glad to see the 2 experience actor/actress collaborated on this show. Their acting and visuals are heavenly. Can't imagine anyone else being casted for their roles.

BBH is now 1 of my fav actress with her visual and acting. I also managed to check out BBH previous drama. LOL. Surgeons is pretty good too.
