We must clarify that this drama does not lack respect for any dogma of the Catholic Church. And that in the case of Andrea, celibacy cannot be lifted because he is capuchin (OFM, Cap) and celibacy is part of the rules of the order. They live in a community. Only obligatory celibacy can be raised to diocesan priests. But I love this drama a lot!

Review Love Letter
I will comment on this drama, not as a drama teacher, but as a serious Catholic. The drama presents many clichés and presents Andrea's love as one forbidden by him to want to be a priest. But one detail that is overlooked is that priest is precisely ordained to be sincere and frank, when he says that love is from God, and when he remembers that he is ordered to give the last sacraments to his beloved. We are talking about the year 2003, in the year 2018 the obligatory celibacy is being questioned. As an educated Catholic, I want to instruct everyone who reads this, that obligatory celibacy is not a dogma of faith and that the Pope can raise it at any time. I, personally, do not agree with the obligatory celibacy. I would love it if it were to rise so that the Church enters with the right foot to the 21st century. Only a married priest, with a family, can be the best marriage counselor. In addition, sexual continence for love of God is a gift that not all men have. And we should not measure the love of God based on asexuality. There are many married men who could be excellent servants of God. And celibacy closes the doors. We must see the historical context in which celibacy was imposed. In those moments it was necessary. But now it's anachronistic. We see that nature responds, the man was not born to be alone, but God gave the woman a suitable companion. And the priests die alone and sick after wearing themselves out for Christ. That's why this is something of justice, not morbid. Also, add all the scandals of pedophilia in which the Church has been involved. If love is of God, then love is holy, marriage is holy and not to be condemned.

We have different views on this drama. But let me tell you, you’re not better than me. You are such a snob it’s ridiculous. Chill out.

Finally, Da Ra's allusion to Bluebeard's tale is because Bluebeard was an abusive husband who killed his wives and hid the corpses in the basement. That's why Da Ra was so traumatized because she was afraid that her father Chan Ki would become a Blue Beard. That's why I took the time to instruct you.

You are totally wrong. First: the mystery melodrama genre is very adult and not everyone understands it, it does not have to necessarily have romance to be good. The romance dramas are over and the genre of mystery is relatively new in Korea, therefore, it is difficult to assimilate by a young audience, it is a totally adult genre. Second: total facial plastic surgery has been done and postoperative amnesia is reviewed in medical journals. Third: aphasia and apraxia of Da Ra are real because they are strokes, small strokes caused by traumatic experiences. Fourth: Dr. Kang Woo (the protagonist) has an unresolved Oedipus complex with his dead mother and also an unresolved duel with her, which is why he changes the face of Eun Han for his mother's. And Kang Chan Ki is an abusive husband because he has a psychological problem called insecure and anxious bonding, which is explained by the psychological theory of bonding. Because his mother did not give him love, the slaps that Chan Ki gave his wife, were really for his mother. And I know what I'm talking about because I'm a drama teacher. The drama is a jewel of acting and nothing is ridiculous, little credible, fanciful or caricatured. If you do not understand an adult drama, first look for information. Because the entertainment industry is there to educate while we entertain ourselves. This drama warns about the dangers of a dysfunctional home and its consequences on family members.
