Not precise but Douban 7.0 is probably equivalent to MDL 8.5 since their rating system is critical compared to international sites. but an 8.9 generally indicates a highly popular & well-received drama among international fans. This drama has not release all of the episodes on Netflix yet. iViewers are still catching up. wouldn’t be a surprise if it does hit 9.0+ ☺️
