Kinda curious on the comparison, why?
Gosh, where should I even begin? If you don't mind SPOILERS here I go: 1. the same actress that plays here character almost the same why she did in MLFTS (that one I didn't mind coz it was funny), 2. The same actress that playes again the FL's friend. 3. Joseon flashbacks, 4. The main couple knew themselves in the Joseon era, just like in MLFTS, but this time it is the dude that was reincarnated. 5. The ending is basically the same - she needs to go back where she belongs because death, just like the alien guy from MLFTS etc.

There's quite a number of scenes with him but the actor that played him gave such a wooden performance that I barely could watch it. If I remember correctly I was fast forwarding through most of the scenes with him.
