- Unfortunately there is no way to tell by your post exactly how much you did or didn't misunderstand about it, or what you do or don't know in regards to the topic at hand, as I can only go by what you posted.
So in a simple attempt to help, I erred on the side of caution and gave a more in-depth/broken down explanation of OP's comment to help clear up any misunderstandings you may have had, either way.
Sorry I was just trying to help and didn't mean any offense.
I already vented about the sound effects - but there is something else that drives me crazy in Thai BL's and does…
Yass! Especially since the rest of the character names were mostly ordinary English names like Charlie, Alan, and Jeff. I didn't even mind North and Sonic tbh, but Babe, Way, and Winner, irritated me so much...LOL.
The same goes with their nicknames in real life . Because their real names are so long, hard to spell, pronounce, or remember, I have to rely on the nicknames to figure out who they are. Some of them are cute and easy to remember like Benz and Ping, but others like Nut, Top and Guitar, kill me. Some are also just plain silly and I just can't take them seriously like Gameplay, Barcode, Traffic, and Fourwheels.

That's not the hair dying they're referring to. Those are the flashbacks where their hair is meant to be a completely different colour to help differentiate the past from the present time line and Blue from Nail... and if you look closely, all they did is sprayed black aerosol colouring over the actor's "present day" hair colour because you can see the colour peeking through in places where it wasn't covered properly.
What OP is talking about in their post is how the two main actor's dark roots are showing various root regrowth lengths from one scene to the next where it should have remained the same - sometimes even within the same scene! For example, if a character went to bed with no roots showing, they shouldn't be waking up the next day with an inch of visible dark roots. Sometimes it's even as much as 2-3 inches of root showing in one scene, then it's looking freshly dyed with zero dark roots visible in the next, and then in between the two extremes with a shadow root in the scene after that (And it was CONSTANTLY happening, so I'm really surprised you didn't notice). This often happens when scenes are filmed out of order, which for most shows and movies is usually the case, and done for various reasons like location, weather, or even specific time of day shots to keep production costs down. Unfortunately, natural hair growth and natural colour fading occurs over time and changes the overall appearance of the dyed hair if there's no frequent re-dying or root touchups during filming, especially if the dye job is a very light colour and the natural hair colour is very dark, as in this show's case. Hope this helps!
The two actors in THIS show are Iwase Yoji, who plays Shiga Takara, and Konishi Eito, who plays Nakano Taishin. You might want to edit your post.
