This is a good drama. The storyline is nice and solid. Most actors did a good job but I must say that the drama was carried on by Chris Wu as Huo Ting En that delivered a great intense performance and Lawrence Liu as Peng Xiao Bin whose character provided many laughs and a genuine bromance. The other main actors did well, but the acting was subpar and at some points it felt spastic. The leading lady’s execution of her character was affected by lack of facial expressions; sometimes, her acting seemed forced and unnatural, gladly, Chris Wu made up with his warmth performance and their romantic scenes were believable. Still, it is a drama that is worth watching. Enjoy it!

This is a great character based drama that depicts a male lead with Dissociative identity disorder (DID) stemming from a traumatic event in his childhood! There is no good vs. evil, the main lead’s persona split into two personalities, one that is cold hearted and cowardish in order to protect himself and one that is warm, understanding, and brave. The lead male actor (Hyun Bin as Gu Seo Jin/Robin) did such a great job that one totally forgets that he is still one person. This drama’s plot starts with Gu Seo Jin unexpectedly meeting Jang Ha Na which becomes the trigger to Robin’s (Gu Seo Jin’s alter ego) reappearance. From henceforth, and through a series of unfortunate events, this man starts on his way of healing, reconciliation, and falling in love. It has a good ending but the drama could’ve used one more episode to strengthen the lead couple’s relationship. Still, it is a great drama with many good actors playing their characters very well and a fantastic antagonist. Enjoy it!

This is a good drama that missed the chance to be a great romantic story. Although it has too many episodes, the supporting cast stories are nice. The main lead couple has good chemistry but plot was full of depressive attitude from the female lead, even if her character was written like that, their dramatic life became and her indulgence and self sacrifice for everyone else was overly extended and it got tiring toward the end. Forgiveness for his mother and embracing her selfishness was ridiculous. Even then, the cast did a great job delivering their characters. It is really not a bad drama to watch while waiting for a better one.

You Are Mine (2025) is a great romance miniseries with male lead Zhang Bei Xi( as Wen Zhi Yu) and female lead Meng Na (as Guan Xin). The plot is well developed and the cast did a very good job bringing their characters to life. The lead couple has very good chemistry and the romance evolved gradually. Wen Zhi Yu made sure that Guan Xin felt his love for her at every turn and, at the same time, giving Guan Xin the time and space that she needed to start loving him. The leading couple had known each other for a long time and Zhi Yu didn’t waste any time after she dumped her lousy boyfriend to make her his bride. Their relationship flourished and Guan Xin gets to know about her husband’s long-standing love for her. Guan Xin falls deeply in love with her husband also and together they formed an unbreakable bond. Overall, this is a very entertaining drama, enjoy it!

Rainkissed Fate (2025) is a great story of romance and new opportunities with Dai Gao Zheng as He Yu Chena and Chen Fang Tong as Bu Yan.This miniseries is a good quality production and the supporting cast did a decent job bringing their characters to life. The leading couple is great and they have a fantastic team and romantic chemistry. When these two work together, the only disappointment is that they are constrain by the limited time and pace of miniseries that rhythms and sequential speed of action in the connected events (narrative). Even then, Gao Chen and Fang Tong managed to create a passionate and realistic chemistry that holds the drama together. Some viewers are bothered by the antagonists’ shenanigans but that is typical of this kind of dramas and, if you pay close attention, Yu Chen and Bu Yan are not so easy to fool; they strong and smart characters on their own that only become smarter and stronger together. This drama is very entertaining, enjoy it!

Love After Love is a romantic miniseries that, although it has a nice premise and no major issues affect the leading couple’s relationship, the leadings couple’s romantic interactions were good but the leading lady's facial expressions were somber for most of the drama. The plot has a leading male that is overly considerate but fails to explain things in due time in order to avoid misunderstandings. Of course, these situations and characters are part of a poorly written story that could’ve been much better. There are too many things going on at once and the romance, once the lead couple gives in into their feelings for each other, although it is not lively, it is beautifully gentle and steadfast.

Do not believe the naysayers! Love To Hate You is a delightful romantic comedy that is really not trying to say that all men are misogynists; she dated such guys to settle a score in behalf of the women that they have hurt. The drama is a comedy and, as so, it relates the story in a somewhat lighthearted way to bring the leading couple together and make them realize that loving the right person makes their lives a lot more fulfilled. If a viewer is too judgmental of the drama, it will not be enjoyable; just watch it with an open mind and with the idea that the drama does not intend to convey messages in a self-righteous or tiresome way, it really tries to use a selected theme of taking revenge many men that happened to be taking advantage of women and, in the process, finding out that not all of them are created equal and throughout the process, the main cast the triumphed over adverse circumstance resulting in a happy ending. The drama has a great cast that did a fantastic job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has a highly pleasing romantic chemistry. Also, the overall chemistry was great and the cast delivered a very entertaining drama. Enjoy it!

This drama is an excellent production. It is a saeguk about three individuals that are thrown into chaos with the painful and heartbreaking history of a life changing revolution in Korea in the late 1800’s. Although there is continuous reference and chronological sequence of the Donghak Peasant Movement revolt of 1894, this drama is all about the people and the reasons that drive these individuals to make life changing decisions that will forever alter their path through life. The three main characters (Baek Yi Kang played by Jo Jung Suk, Baek Yi Hyun played by Yoon Shi Yoon, and Song Ja In played by Han Ye Ri) are caught up into the tumultuous, tragic, heartbreaking, and life changing events of the revolt of the Korean peasants and followers of the Donghak religion and its pantheistic ideology that instill a profound desire to change the inhumane treatment of the lower class by the noblemen and royalty, and eventually, fight the Japanese takeover of Joseon. That is the setting behind our main characters that, although they are fictional, their story could’ve well been one of the many real life stories during that period in Korean history. This is the story of three individuals that went through a radical change effected by these poignant and tragic developments in an effort to create an egalitarian society in Korean. This drama has a stellar cast and every character was brilliantly portrayed by actors that brought about a wide range of emotions, from profound love and great camaraderie down to their most vicious and horrendous nature and disposition. The drama depicts many historical events with accuracy which truly leaves the viewer deeply emotionally invested. Even if the viewer is not a fan of the many tragic events and loss of life that happens when a country is engulfed in war, the characters are a real force of nature that will leave deep impressions on one’s mind. Enjoy it!

CLIFFHANGER!!!

Oh My Lord is a good lighthearted drama that, sadly, ends with a cliffhanger and, hopefully, will be followed by a second season. The show has quick resolutions for the arising problems but it also has clichés that could’ve been avoided. For a 15 episodes drama, the leading couple and their servants did a good job bringing their characters to life, but for the most part, the acting from other supporting cast was subpar. Overall, it is a nice drama that needs a second season to make it worth watching.

This is a great crime fantasy drama! Although there are many negative comments, too many are really unjustified. The drama is very entertaining and the actors did a great job bringing these characters to life. The leading couple has great chemistry and rapport, although there were not many romantic scenes, the ones that they had were nicely done. The antagonists also did a tremendous job delivering spine-chilling scenes. It is true that there are some things about the Abyss, a soul-reviving marble, that were not explained and it could be bothersome to some viewers. Also, the end is really nice but it felt a little bit rushed, but overall speaking, the drama is really entertaining. Enjoy it!

Coroner's Diary(2025) is a great historical, mystery drama with Ao Rui Peng (as Yan Chi) and Landy Li (as Shen Wan / Qin Wan). The drama has well written crime cases to be solved, fantastic dialogue, and a cast that out their outmost when bringing their characters to life. The lead couple has a great affinity in both intellectual character and partnership. Their romantic development is very realistic given the fact that they were hyper vigilant about people and their surroundings. It is a delight to see how the love grew into a steadfast feeling that no one could shake. Then, there are the criminal cases, which are the center of the story, and how well they were intertwined into the mystery that the leading couple was trying to uncover. Overall, this is a great drama about a brilliant female coroner that takes upon herself to find out who destroyed her family and an equally talented Crown Prince of King Rui whose only mission in life is to uncover the truth about the Prince of Jin’s death; when their intentions aligned, they decide to work together and, with the help of four great friends, they become a formidable team and find true love in the process; enjoy it.

Title: Jin Ri Tian Qing Yi Ai Ni is a very good romance vertical miniseries with ML: Zhu Yi Wei (as Gu Han Song) and FL: Bai Xin Yi (as Li Xin Yi /Xu Muran) in the leading couple’s role. This drama revolves around Gu Han Song and Li Xin Yi’s lives as they come together after a one night stand where they were both drugged by people that they knew who had different agendas. Gu Han Song had already liked the female from their unexpected foreboded encounter with Li Xin Yi when she was escaping an arranged marriage and took him for a chauffeur. After the one night stand, she gets pregnant and, even though there was a misunderstanding that is cleared early into the drama, they get married and a story of a beautiful love begins. Both leads are strong minded characters with great values and steadfast feelings toward each other. It is endearing seen how Han Song becomes desperate to find Li Xin Yi after she was kidnapped and saves her from attempting to die while she is in a state of despair and desperation. From then on, a strong bond starts to form and they learn how to trust each other and grow deeper in love. Great romance story, enjoy it!

Da Xiao Jie Ta Xin Dong Le(2025) aka: Whispers Of Her Heart is a very good romance miniseries with Wang KaiMu (as Gu Shen / Lu Shi Yuan) and Xu Dan (as Ji Yun Chu) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple has a great understanding and trust on each other. Gu Shen has been by Ji Yun Chu for many years acting as her bodyguard and has been loving her silently for a long while. There is some pretty well done action scenes throughout the drama an it was a delight to see how deeply concern Gu Shen was about Yun Chu and vice versa. Their romantic scenes are beautifully done and it is obvious that, even if Yun Chu didn’t have full awareness of her romantic feelings toward Gu Shen, one could not be without the other. Overall, this drama has a nice couple of twists and it is very entertaining, enjoy it!

Blossom(2024) is a very good romance fantasy drama set in a historical era about the rebirth of the lead lady with Li Yun Rui as Song Mo / Yan Tang and Meng Zi Yi as Dou Zhao / Shou Gu in the leading couple’s role. The drama has a well written rebirth plot, palace politics, dysfunctional family dynamics, betrayal, and a slow burn mature and steadfast romance between Song Mo and Dou Zhao. The cast did a great job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple, with both being intelligent, honest, and supportive of each other, brought the meaning of strategy to a high level. The drama is more focused on politics and the usual feud amongst the royal family with the main couple finding themselves swirling in and out of the Royal vortex.
The action scenes on this drama are well done, the complexities of some of the characters are significant for plot development and the leading lady’s friends are a testament to Dou Zhao’s loyal heart.
SPOILER: The romance is good but it is not spellbinding; it had a lot of “this is it” moments that gave the audience great expectations but those are crushed by a some cliché interruptions and the strategizing topic by her right when he arrives at the wedding chamber and he so gently reminds her that it’s their wedding night; then the rumbling tummy, her cousin coming to talk to her and both ending up falling asleep. If the intent is comedy, it was a major letdown for romantics at heart. These events, instead of funny, paired with waiting three episodes for their marriage consummation, were tedious and the marriage went almost unnoticed. Having said that, the rest of their romance had some beautiful tender instances and their relationship excels at those moments when they have honest, heart to heart conversations, every time they look at each other with soulful understanding, their embraces, and their fervent consternation when the other one is in danger, making their relationship profound and heartfelt; it is really moving!
Overall, this is a very good drama that truly entertains, enjoy it!

Joy Of Life season 2 is still full of compelling cinematography, CGI’s, costumes, smart created dialogue and characters that are not crystal clear all the way to the end of this season, which gives the drama a feeling of mystery and restlessness; but it is not comparable to season 1. Season 2 started with a sense of ridiculous farcical tone that lasted too many episodes. Once the story picked up, there were some interesting twists and palace antics to stir trouble but the main characters around Fan Xian, instead of remaining mysterious and transcendental, seemed to have been suffering from manic episodes and pushing Fan Xian beyond boundary lines. There are some secrets revealed (even though hints were given before so they were not surprising) and the Emperor became childish and petty.
There are still characters beyond Fan Xian that are a treat to watch. From both seasons, there is the lovely, smart, loyal, and spirited Fan Ruo Ruo (played by Song Yi) and the fabulous Wang Qi Nian (played by Tian Yu). HONORABLE MENTION: Haitang Duo Duo [Northern Qi saintess] (played by Xin Zhi Lei).
