Is this kid a prodigy or what? I very much doubt there's anything he can't do. Wow! I was just watching PGHR and he's always one of the highlights of this show for me. If I were his mom I'd be bragging to all my friends constantly.
I like this drama, but I just started episode 7 and the fact that none of these characters seems to be able to be truthful in their relationships is getting a bit tiring. The things they're keeping hidden from their partners aren't really even that big of a deal. Keeping secrets just seems to cause more problems than honesty. I'm going to try and stick it out to the end which I usually do regardless. I like all of the characters just not necessarily their misguided actions. Joon Ho is the best of the bunch. He's honest to a fault because the poor guy is in the middle of all the crazy that happens, and he just wants everyone to be happy. Yoon Hyun Min is going to be the next big thing.
For a relative newbie who is a former athlete this guy's a natural. I've only seen his funny stuff so far, and I have to say his comedic timing is amazing. He's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. He's a major scene stealer, and I look forward to seeing more of his work in the future.
Uck. Why did they cast Koo Hye Sun? She is so annoying with her over the top exaggerated acting. The drama isn't terrible, but she could easily ruin it for me. I hope that's not the case.
I think my only general criticism of Asian dramas, wherever they hail from, is a very small and somewhat humorous thing that occurs. Whenever they have the need for caucasian extras that have speaking parts, I always wonder if they intentionallly pick the worst actors they can find. Whenever I see a white actor on the screen I cringe knowing how bad it's going to be. It usually makes me laugh more than anything else.
This drama has done something I never thought possible. It has made me respect Park Shin Hye as an actress. Her role in this drama couldn't be more different from her previous roles.
She is strong, independent, selfless yet practical, and she has even learned how to kiss. She doesn't fall for the jerk, she picks the nice guy. I could go on and on.
I really love this drama and am sad to see it end.
I was hooked only part way into the first episode. It's the highest rated drama on my list after my love from the stars. The only downside being one you already mentioned and that there is only one episode a week, which makes me very cranky. This and Liar Game are my new obsessions. I think in the future I will wait until a series is over to start watching it. It's not like there aren't plenty I can watch in the meantime...
