That dumb soohyun needs a tight slap on her face. She didn't called for backup on time even though eljah was with…
She definitely shouldn't have exited the car at that moment, knowing that she had Elijah with her. Her first priority should have been Elijah. She could have located her somewhere safe, before returning to the hooligans, if she wanted to serve justice. Or called for backup like you stated. Blindly confronting an unruly crowd of armed men, while having a vulnerable teenage girl with her, was just bloody careless and stupid.
Am I the only one who feels for Oh Jin Joo? Like, the girl is trying so hard to be useful to the team, but the others pretty much ignore her throughout. In my point of view, the way she is treated by the male members of her team, and the office, is the sad reality of our current world (and not only the dystopian world portrayed in this drama). Her character is the most realistic to me- her frustration, confusion... everything
Contrary to the popular opinion, ai actually really like this drama! It's a fun watch. It has all the elements of my guilty pleasure- a contractual relationship that turns to love, a considerate ML and an AMAZING female lead; and not to forget the cutest kid ever! I live their family dynamic. Yes, this is a slow drama, but I like that they don't rush things. The pace is perfect.
like i know the kidnapping scene was meant to be sad, but what really broke my heart was xiaobao knowing he's…
You're absolutely right! I adore the second leads' coupling. Their relationship is much more mature and realistic. The way Xiaobao respects the princess's feelings is such a breath of fresh air! And I really admire the writers for not making the princess fall in love with him early on, like other such dramas. She knows she needs to get out of there, and that remains her priority for most parts.
I’m praying that the writers don’t go for the ‘usual’ reasons to have DID or have psychopathic tendencies.…
Definitely! I would love to see some inherently sociopathic character. Having such disorders don't necessarily require a traumatic reason. Sometimes, a person is born this way. America Psycho was a masterpiece in this sense.
Am I the only one troubled by the mentioning of the ML lead entering MIT at age 10 (and then dropping out at 12)??? How far fetched is this? It's Massachusetts Institute of Technology, for God's sake! Where do all the kdrama leads get all this talent from?
That was Yi Yue only. It was mentioned by her friend that she had saved someone from an accident years back (because of which she hurt her hand and couldn't become a surgeon) That was probably little Xiao Bao. Since then, ML has been searching for her.
For everyone worrying about the ending, stay relaxed. The webtoon had a happy ending. As you all might have noticed, Dam didn't reply to his love confession. The webtoon ended with him becoming human after Dam told him that she loves him, and they kiss. That was the moment he becomes human.
It's like a trainwreck. I know it's all going to crash, but the tension keeps me invested. Having read the mind-blowing webtoon, I am just waiting with apprehension for what is to transpire. Since there are already a few considerable changes in the story, I wonder hos the drama is going to pan out...
My ovaries exploded when WY called her "Dam ah" instead of "Dami ssi" 🔥
That was my favorite part of the entire episode! That one word, said in such a tender tone, completely changed the dynamics of their relationship. It felt a lot more intimate and loving!<3
I love this drama. But am I the only one who feels like most of the times, the main leads have a more of a 'teacher-student' dynamic, than a romantic one? I mean, I really enjoy their individual personalities; and their moments are really cute! But Lee Dam calling him sir, and his age factor coming into play, makes things awkward. They don't have an equal relationship. Half of the show, he treated her like her guardian. Their sudden romance, felt forced and unnatural at moments. I wish I change my mind soon. But I would have preferred them to remain friends, and be each other's support. Not every beautiful relationship has to be a romantic one.
Dae-Yeop frustrates me to no end. The way he is hanging on to the princess, is definitely unhealthy. I also never understand his actions. Why does he act like a victim? All he has to do is let her go!! They were living well like in-laws. He was completely complaint having her as his brother's widow. The moment she decides to live her own life, he suddenly remembers his 'undying love' for her. I wish he could think of himself first. I might sound harsh, but I wish he got a life.
To the webtoon readers here, I have a question about Jae-Won.Do they reveal if he's doing all of this just to…
Well, Jae-eon's character has his own backstory. He witnessed something (P.S. something related to his family), which has affected the way he deals with his relationships. It is heavily implied that although he does everything knowingly, he isn't necessarily an evil person. This is the only way he knows. The webtoon has a pretty smooth flow. It's more emotion-oriented. So, there isn't any 'reveal' of sorts. I also think that much of it is subjective. You may think that given his nature, Jae-eon acts that way towards Nabi just to sleep with her. But as a reader, we have an inquisitive look at Nabi's thoughts, and also begin to hope that he's 'treating her special'. That is the beauty of this story. We are just as confused as Nabi. The webtoon doesn't have his POV. Whatever we can deduce, is from Nabi's narration, and her perception of who he is. I will be spoiling the story if I reveal any further. Just know that by the end of the webtoon, I was staunchly against their relationship. They are two people who need to solve their own issues first, before investing in any sort of relationship. Jae-eon was NOT AT ALL what Nabi needed after her dreadful first relationship, and she will realize that eventually.
