I mean you can't blame people.. most dramas mirror the predecessors seasons but this one doesn't at all. That's…
Incase you haven't noticed people are allowed to form opinions, even though it doesn't mean it has to matche yours. Many people thought it would mirror the first season..

You're a gatekeeper of the kdrama genre in general.. and its terrifying. Also i can say people didn't expect that, because they are going based on the previous season which this show is hardly continuing.. calm down kid.

Title Stranger Season 2 Spoiler

You sound like a gatekeeper.. anyone can be the biggest fan of a show and not even remotely know the directors name. If a show was created as a mystery thriller type deal then people typically expect the same atmosphere or at least somewhat similar.. this season went in a completely different step, and it surprised people. Also, I vividly remember the first season it's always been political but it was completely different from now, not to mention they LITERALLY time skipped 2 years. The first season was way more faster pace, you don't have to see it that way, but I do. Viewers don't have to do anything.

The whole point is that they're on opposite sides of the spectrum.
Although they have mutual respect they still have a job to do.

Maybe this isn't your cup of tea. This is police vs prosecutor rather than flat out investigation i find that…
I'm okay with the pace starting off slow and then move fast rather than the pace starting off fast and slow down. Ideally I prefer a faster pace drama all the way through but I take what I can get.

was it necessary to keep such interesting leads apart & give them so less screen time for the first 4 epis to…
Yea, it is. They're on opposite ends of the spectrum.. one is a cop the other is a prosecutor

First of all, you got into S2 with wrong expectation. The writer mentioned she wrote S2 in a different way, so…
No, he came to season two with the right expectations. Just they changed a lot and it's significantly more slower paced. We expected a investigation show with a certain ambiance.. not a police vs prosecutor power struggle.

kinda sad that it seems like people's expectations were for a mirror to s1 and also just in general like not as…
I mean you can't blame people.. most dramas mirror the predecessors seasons but this one doesn't at all. That's why people are bound to dislike it more.

No one expected a drama about a police vs prosecutor power struggle

Interesting how they are on opposite sides in work politics but can still work together on a case to get justice…
The whole point is that they're on opposite sides of the spectrum.
