Don't bother this user is a serial hater

Reasons i think it will be different from previous versions ( speculations):
1. No character directly resembles Cecile caldwell/volanges
2. New character of han sun hwa not present in previous versions
3. Teaser showed dramatic and intimate interactions between hui yeon and madam cho which is not present in prev version
4. All historical versions were less than 2 hour duration movies this one is an 8 ep series
5. This is my view but in max prev versions the most famous/ impactful actresses reese witherspoon, jeon do yeon etc were cast as madame de tourvel but this drama has son ye jin as madam cho/marquise de marteuil so there may be some fundamental changes in dynamics and storyline

Most probably they will cover some part of the webtoon and depending on the response they will cover the rest in subsequent seasons

I think she is someone who is attracted to cho won and becomes an obstacle for him when he tries to pursue hui yeon..in the poster also she appears in the cho won poster sneakily looking towards him🤔

Ji chang wook left the drama "twelve" for this show..which is great cuz that show was a complete disaster

The production budget looks insane..the webtoon story itself didn't interest me that much..casting for rashta is perfect

Guys no need to write the summary of the whole book/previous versions in the comments..there are many people who haven't read/seen those and they can simply watch this show rather than watching some 25 year old show and compare..no need to spoil it even though this drama will be different

In the movie version..cho won is a playboy whose only purpose in life is to derive pleasure he has already learnt all skills and doesn't want political positions..the widow is like a ultimate challenge/prize to him..she is described as" gate of chastity"

Yes they don't interact in cruel intentions too until the end..this story is different only the premise is similar..and han sun hwa's character is still total mystery

Haha that's a long list..many of these will probably be fulfilled but i am sure most conversations will be extremely edgy and dramatic 🤪..that's part of the charm

Not really..the actual and only parent is a film called untold scandal released in 2003..this show will be a drama adaptation of that but looking at the teaser it seems they will change it completely
