Anyone with 2 eyes will be able to see that this show was complete trash in terms of script writing..if chatgpt would be told to mix up all the common romcom themes of love polygon, amnesia, childhood trauma etc. it would have come up with a BETTER script than this..it honestly felt like i was watching a group of people talk and argue among themselves in different locations after ep 1 was over. I liked ep 1 though
Typical Netflix show great start but then its like they end up creating something boring and bland.Just Mid! also…
Nah..netflix just gives the production money, i think writing in general has gotten weaker..even famous writers are giving weak scripts..they are " experimenting " but the results are weak..both this, genie and tempest etc. Have top writers but still writing was relatively weak
Dropping 12 or 16 eps together for romcoms is a really bad strategy unless netflix is sure continuity is necessary for the show..in most melo/romcoms plot progresses slowly and it benefits the show if people talk for atleast 3,4 weeks..i can understand for 8 eps but not 12+
Decided to drop after 7 eps..not my type of show..the story has almost no impact confusing ,takes wild turns and relies heavily on visuals...and the brother's gf relationship with the manager was totally unnecessary..ML liked the brother's to-be wife for half of the show and then got closure in a few seconds of discussion๐
Just a genuine question (0 hate) : i understand his domestic popularity for shows like heirs, boys over flowers and legend of blue sea so lot of middle aged and old koreans also know him..but why is he soo popular overseas? Because i am 100 percent sure none of his dramas are super popular overseas obviously some people know them but theyre not qot, squid games level of popular...and he's anyways not netflix popular like song kang etc..my guess is that some of his dramas were aired in local channels in many countries..that's how soo many people came to know him( before ott platforms picked up kdramas)
