Believe me i do really like some actors and actresses but the problem is systemic. If ksh were in hollywood he would have been cancelled for sure..but i seriously doubt that will happen in korea(he's still receiving support even now)..the culture itself is rotten..it's about brainwashing people and having almost cult like following. Yes i don't disagree with that but in those shows i don't think the focus is on their acting skills it's about the formula..like a pattern, i am pretty sure mlfts is not the best work of jjh, similarly there are much better shows than qot if you want to focus on kjw acting etc..all i am saying is that these shows are crafted carefully so that the fl's don't outshine him and his lack of skills become evident
1 thing i learnt from ksh about making hit shows in korea: get a relatively good actress as a fl, give her character long black hair and expensive outfits, a sassy and/or cold personality, ml should act like a green flag and make cute faces, fl should have character flaws but ml would still fall for her..story should be about their collective struggle against external threats and despite her flaws fl is not bad inside..and voila k stans would eat it up and it would sweep up all the popularity awards..not much acting skills needed as well

I really like jjh, i think she worked on very few projects compared to some other actresses but has had tremendous impact. In terms of acting skills i would say she is the best actress of korea. Really excited for her pairing with jcw.(Even if this new project somehow doesn't happen atleast colony is confirmed). Also that new drama if it happens should definitely be shown in korean tv because she is unimaginably popular in korea
