Also how is no one talking about the coolness that is Song Jae Rim as Mo Il Hwa? Heheh. Something about him is…
He rocks! all the more reason that the hasty review is useless.

People with personalities like Mi Do (When a Man's in Love) do exist in the real world, with an emotionless face,…
That because you didn't fall in love with them like the main lead,
Yes as we ask why some women can't resist bad boys, some men too can't help falling for bitches!

And that part of the plot even the title suggests it, how far can this noble-hearted man go for someone he loves, even when she is way too annoying.

People with personalities like Mi Do (When a Man's in Love) do exist in the real world, with an emotionless face, indecisive and egoistic at times, i don't understand why some people are disappointed with a Drama or a writer for depicting such personality.

Same thing for the second lead, she tries to look strong, despite having a complex about being an illegitimate daughter...

I mean "in When a Man's in Love" is about emotionally hurt people clumsily trying to find love, not a fairy tale.

Don't know about other shows, but i still think Sword and Flower isn't underrated at all, that said, i like historical and period drama even the long ones, one of my favorites is Soldier.

I don't understand this love for The Master's Sun... have anybody watched reply 1994? Oh please! I think I'm not…
From those that i watched and are in this list, the only one that captivated me was two weeks.
though i'm relieved "Knife and Flower" got nothing.

Heads up the main girl is a bitch, but I still liked her even though i wanted to stick a dagger in her heart at…
Yeah they're out there!
I had a childhood friend of that kind, expressionless face, selfish, indecisive and maybe regretful I'm not sure, it took me a while to get to understand him and subsequently give up on his friendship.

It's not uncommon to see partial reviews for ongoing shows with the proper disclaimer, although I'm not asking for them but I'm curious why the ranking went so high when people aren't even excited as usual following a new drama.

I'm watching episode 11 now. They are using poorly accelerated motion for fighting's choreography and it's really embarrassing.

All right, that's it, I'm done with this show.
I might end up hating Uhm Tae Woong if I continue.

According to MDL scoring scale, Five which corresponds to "Average" is the least score given by the reviewers to this show, and user's scoring is 6.48, between fine and good, these ratings are far from "Horrible" which corresponds to two. Yet there are comments stating that it's underrated. Well, I don't think so.
On Sword and Flower Nov 3, 2013
Imho it's overrated,

The script is unrealistic and childish. Take for instance the Geumhwadan, they are supposed to be a SECRET group of warriors protecting the royal family, but already at the beginning we know how many they are, who they are, their skills, temperaments even their romantic relationships, there is absolutely no mystery to make the plot more serious, let alone interesting.

Fight choreography is mediocre.

As for historicity it should be branded fantasy instead because they don't stick to Korean tradition of that epoch, it looks like a cake of leftovers, they picked cool things from many civilizations (Japanese, Chinese even Roman...)

I pity the actors because no matter how good they are, the result sucks.

Sadly quality was sacrificed for quantity; not worth watching moments amount at least to 10 episodes between Ha Myeong-Geun wishy-washy and cheesy scenes, Yoon Hwa-Yeong inexplicable dumbness at times and a lot of gratuitous long flashbacks.
On Medical Top Team Oct 25, 2013
With each episode, more emotional scenes are spoiled by Kwon Sang Woo either by his inexpressive face or overacting performances.
On The Master's Sun Oct 23, 2013
Would have been better with different main leads, i like So Ji Sub acting but on this role of an eccentric successful businessman he was outperformed by Park Shi Hoo (Cheongdamdong Alice) and Hyun Bin (Secret Garden). And to be honest, Gong Hyo Jin didn't look that cute or appealing in any believable way as to explain his attachment to her.

Overall entertaining light drama. Don't expect a realistic depiction of savant syndrome, despite the synopsis, they took a lot of creative liberties in the portrayal of the condition. And, I must say, I was amazed by Park Shi On performance.

Title The Princess's Man Spoiler
you can not predict this kind of amazing story :)
Actually there's rather an evident pattern, whenever the good guys plan something, they fail for dumbest of reasons :
- keeping the door open so someone can barge in and discover what you are plotting.
- disclose your plans loudly while leaving your headquarters so anyone outside can hear you.
- walk around with your face exposed when you are a most wanted man.
- befriend a known untrustworthy coward and feed him your secret plans and weaknesses.
- keep in your sleeves incriminating evidence so it can be used against you.
- let your beloved ones stay unprotected where your enemy can easily find them.
