Agree. I used to check the ratings and what's popular but after watching them, I end up just dropping it. A lot of the popular dramas with well-known cast has storylines that are draggy, or really nothing new or nothing special. Just the actors. And there's a lot of them.
That's why I'm just checking what's available, check the storyline, watch the first 3 eps and if I like it, I will finish it.

I thought I was the ony one who noticed the ending. I felt it was rushed. I wished this drama could have been longer. But still way better than some dramas with a-list cast but the story was dragging. I enjoyed it more despite me having 0 idea about the actors. Sometimes those dramas with unknown actors are far better than the full cast one.

AvenueX a youtuber did explain that it's possible that the director had made some changes to their lines to make more sense. Since the shooting was already done, they just won't on changing the lines for the dubbers that is why the dubbing didn't match most of the time.

I'm trying thinking whether to continue or not. I just find the female lead really annoying. I mean the character.. so well if I can't find anything good to watch I might go back and watch it again.
But yeah, EL did a great job as a first timer. And of course our baby Wan Peng did amazing as Sang Wuyan..
