Not saying that every show in the world has to be female centric, WRTW's protagonist is a dude and the main focus…
The drama did a disservice here to fl character … fl does feel just a support character here not sure if cause YY name is bigger here so they focus more on him .. even the plot of who rules is lost .. we spend 30+ Episode on ML family drama 🙄 and now its all rush …

omg i though it just me... they wasted so much screen time on the family politics drama ... it takes 34 episodes arggh... then we left with 6 just to sprint to end and it's all choppy... arghhhh...

Agreed #2 … story line is ok .. I’m more interest with Huang chao and yu wu yuan wish they developed more their story/characters arc than wasting time on 3rd prince, queen, and his horrible father king ….

Overall i think the chemistry is acceptable but not amazing. Both actors definitely have had better chemistry…
Yes seem the missing part here is the lack of subtleness chemistry which really hard to do …some just have it like her and the general i feel more with their very short scene than all ml/fl thus far and I’m up to 16 ….the drama are showing a lot of typically romance tropes that we usually see but I’m not really feel for them …I just accept it go with flow ok they fl/ml they suppose to be together …

Agreed I’m just watching TLB now and definitely sense much better chemistry there…YY and ZL are good individually here but when they are together it feel off for me … she seem to have much better chemistry with the other males cast here except YY …maybe it’s just me …
