Yep on point...ZBY/ZZ and ZY/QY had their ending at different stage already that we don't need the drama to show it again after the last Wufu fight ...
A little teary during the last Wufu fight and when they reach for each other...bravo to Ethan/YM for giving us Wufu love...they are truely each other half, companionship, and equal. This is probably why I like this Wufu couple so much, they respect each other and not interfered with their other half decision whether it's right or wrong let it be his/her to make...Like FY told the empress if the choice Wuji made is a mistake then she will help bare the consequence of it together with him....
Even though 7 fall of cliff he could still survive :) as we all know anything could happen in this drama how many time have we seen people come back from the dead...I will appease myself and say cutie Yuanboa save the day bts and every one live HE.... (^__^)
Overall still great drama despite it not following the book and the many flaws and plot holes ... Definitely a rewatch for all of Wufu moments...

Production is just using the title and YM name like what happen in "The intrepreter" that one is completely different between book vs drama. Here they just pick a few important scenes from the book and incorporate to their own story but the whole dynamic of the story completely change.
If I don't compare it to the book and think of it as a stand alone story it is quite good despite all the flaws and the stupid love stories writers build for ZBY and ZY. FY here is not as strong as book but I of kind like this, it shows her more human and relatable somehow vs FYbook.
I don't think c-drama can ever make this adaptation or remakes fateful to book, there are just too much restriction from uncles SART or whatever thier new name is. They are too afraid to show women can be as good as men and thus we only see it subtly here through FY actions and her diagoloue...It's like a cat and mouse game the production is playing with SAFT.

Yep, LY can buff his resumes with more solid 2nd lead and keep on this right track and stay consitence and improve hope one day he can lead a major drama. I saw he lead some small web drama with one of his co-Jaywalker.
