no this is a remake of 'someday or oneday' taiwanese drama

The lighting is really bugging me in this drama. Is it supposed to be like a soap?

Even tho it does drag a bit, I love the way the romance is portrayed, it's very pure. JBRs acting is really genuine, all his small gestures and details, but of course he is also very attractive lol. He's not just a pretty face but can act and I wish he was in more dramas. Altho they had good chemistry I don't think she was the best choice for the FL imo.

I agree it lacks depth and I'm not invested in the characters

I also was hoping Kang Hoon would be the ML as I've only seen him as SL all the time :c it's a shame

I also think the writer is a bit off tbh, it feels like I'm not invested in any of the characters, normally first epsidoe should introduce characters and make u invested in them

Idk about the first episode. It was okay, but I can see they r going to drag the cliche of not knowing who her child friend is. I guess as Ive seen so many historical dramas I have high expectations. I was kinda hoping Kang Hoon would be the ML as I haven't seen him in lead role before but I guess not in this drama :c

In this time of drama drought, I would definitely recommend this. I didn't have high expectations but now I seem to be looking forward to watching it each night. I wasn't sure about the male lead but again I was surprised, he comes off a lot better in this drama. He has good chemistry with the FL. She does exaggerate her character a bit but it's not as bad as some FLs where it's unwatchable. I'm liking the storyline too, its not too cliche and has a nice balance.

I think the kdrama 'summer strike' is kinda similar but maybe not as relaxing as this one, but it's about escaping the city.

I'm enjoying it but I wish it had a good OST to go with it like love in the moonlight. It feels a little flat.

I'm gonna get stick for this but I'm gonna say it. Everyone complaining how ML actor lack expression but the FL has too much expression. I dont think either r that amazing at acting tbh. Micro expression r the most realistic and neither can do that. It's a lot like a Web drama tbh. I think it's supposed to be a fun drama so I don't think people should be bothered so much with the acting. It's not like it's a thriller, it's cliche romance. The FL is cliche cute/ arrogant and the ML is reserved/ expressionless. Having said that I do have a weak spot for clichés so not a prob for me but I'm just trying to be realistic. Definitely not a bad drama though, and trust me I've seen my fair share of bad dramas.

The storyline has really progressed and it's actually a pretty gud drama compared to many other historical dramas. I'm loving the FLs smart, cool character and she's a great actress too! As for the ML idk what all the fuss is about, I think he's fine in this role, and his character compliments the FL. It's definitely a watchable drama and I think more people need to give it a chance.

So far so good. I think the first part where the ML practically falls in love at first sight is a bit cliche but since then it's definitely gone up hill. There are some really strong characters, some u love, some u hate (especially hate 😄). I think the professor actually is jealous of the ML. The professor finally has someone who is in his control, unlike normally where he is the underdog. Very promising drama tho, can't wait for the 3rd epsiode!

100% agree with you. It needs a fresh cast who are good actors but not idols or very very popular as it needs to be authentic. The point of the drama is not a good looking cast but good acting to compliment the storyline. I hope the director fully understands the feelings the drama should provoke and not add unnessary cliches.

This is definitely not one to miss! I've watched all episodes so far and each one is as gripping as the next. The plot, actors, characters and production are really well put together. I love how u learn with the characters and that u don't need lots of fluffy romance cuz the mysteries within the drama make the plot really interesting. Many dramas try to pull off clever characters or complex plots, but for me they have never pulled it off, here its been done surprisingly well. I think its also nice that u see the main leads build a relationship along the way without lots of cringey romance scenes. All in all, this is a refreshing and intriguing historical drama. Not to mention the extremely good looking cast. ;)
