I really love this drama but what was this episode 8? How did we get to here? AND Aue did not deserve what happened in this episode. When did he force his feelings on Aek? When did he even say anything to deserve this coming from Aek? Aek's friend Vich did what he should not have done! Aue did one mistake in this episode too and I did not like what he did but his face after, says everything. How broken he was before and after... it's all there. AND it makes sense why he postponed his talk about his feelings with Aek. Only thing that makes sense in this episode.
I don't know if it is me only... but that Wiphob guy gives me some strange feelings, creeps. He Knows Eve... this is red alarm!
Why this dramas gives these pointless previews at the end of each episode is beyond me. Not helpful at all but I hope they make some sense in the next episode because everything went down in this episode and most of the time I couldn't understand from where Aek is coming and why Aue deserved that. In what way did Aue hurt him... and even if we blame Aek being scared and shocked at the realization that Chef has feelings for him... this still was too much.
To wrap it all up, how did we get to Aek going to that Wiphob guy's house?! Where are his other friends? WHO goes to strangers house, especially creepy strangers house... is this a Lifetime movie? ><
I didn't know they show the part "I'm not gay, I only like you" in the preview. Fortunately, the actual scene…
I just saw episode 17 and I think that preview at the end of episode 16 (on viki) was misleading. I should have been smarter and remembered that they did this in the past too... ><
I liked how Mark reacted and what he told to his dad, which was fine. He is confused and he does love Owen... it wasn't a 'I am not gay, I like you only'. It was more of him not ready to find all the answers and put the label(s), just yet.
Later that talk between him, Owen and Joanna about his parents and how they reacted to his coming out and how he should also see it from their perspective, be patient. Especially coming from Owen... I liked that a lot. All three of them are just so supportive and helpful. ^^
Preview fooled me again. The way Mark told his dad about liking the guy, Owen... wasn't the way it was in the preview. He is just confused about all this liking the guy and not ready to put the label yet... which is fine and does not hurt Owen in any way but instead he keeps showing more and more how much he truly loves the guy. I am actually happy with this episode.
Everything is slowly getting to that 'happy' place and now it really sinks in, that this... is... ending next week and no matter the ups and downs I had with this drama, I really fell in love with most of the characters and their stories. Mark, Owen and Joanna's story is literally going where I wanted their story to go. Which makes me SO happy! BUT, all three couples are my favorites and now my only wish is to see Lady Boss and Farmer guy marry... but maybe I am already asking for too much. ><
Yu's ex boss is such a jerk. I hope Mark joins Yu in the future and they start working together. It is not easy changing jobs but I hope this happens for them. That Boss lost a great worker and with the way he treats Yu, I think he knows it too!
I totally agree, I feel like people can't barely appreciate slow things these days. As we are living faster and…
I do love, especially, how much love and care they give to food, side characters, even characters who just comes to eat or delivery stuff. I feel the care! I feel the almost family feels from restaurant stuff and I love that.
I love the every little thing about this drama. I feel that everything is as it should be. It really calms me watching this. I didn't think I would love and care about all the characters n story this much. ❤️😇
I have nothing against fast paced, hot BLs with kisses and skinship. BUT, this drama just hits differently, in all the right ways, for me! 😭❤️
It is episode 7 and people are still complaining how slow this is. 😂🙈
I love this drama. If people can't see the love and care Aue feels towards Aek... If people can't see the chemistry... I don't see what are you still doing here and watching this. 😅💜🙏
This is a slow burn romance, done the way it should be. If you know what that is and how those dramas go, if you are impatient and waiting for hot steamy scenes then, this drama, is not for you.
Episode 1 was so good. I am seeing manga characters come to life and I feel so happy! More than content with what I saw in ep. 1 and preview for ep. 2 makes me more excited. Saturdays in the coming weeks will be nice!~~~
To fan-subbers of this drama: a BIG thank you in advance! :)))
Everyone's story is going in the right direction. I am enjoying all the stories equally and I hope we get older couple married, main couple in that happy place, our beautiful modern family happy too!
I loved to see main's fight in this episode. I loved seeing them communicate and realizing how much that is important in their relationship and future. Good luck to both of them, won't be easy for Yu but I believe in his character and determination and Fei will be there for him! Fei's mom was perfect in this episode. This character just gets better. Love her now!
It'll be dramatic for modern family next week, looking at the preview. I love each of them SO much and I believe all three of them will end up happily.
Only problem I am having with that preview is, yet again, that line 'I am not gay, I only like you'. It feels like a slap to all the gay man, everywhere. I would wholeheartedly accept it if he said he is bi. If he did not use that high-school level line 'I only like you and you only, no other guys'. That tainted a little my love for them.... BL's tend to do this A LOT but I hoped we would be moving away from this old line!
BL or queerbait? I really dislike shows that queerbait.
It is a110% story about a guy who accidentally gets entangled with Ida, starts as Aoki having a crush on Hashimoto but as time goes he falls for Ida. Ida is slow-learner so their relationship is so cute. I can't tell you who I like more after reading the manga. They both get serious and so cute with their relationship. Not as much drama in this one but they do address some things concerning two guys going out etc...
It is a BL about first loves and finding love where you did not expect to find it. I also want people to pay attention to Hashimoto because if they do her justice, in manga she is such an amazing character. BL's need more characters like her and I hope they do the important part with her and her love-line good. :)
I am counting down the days! Really excited to see this one. Manga is so sweet and I would recommend everyone to start reading it! :) Hopefully we get subs but I am more than ready to watch it raw and wait for subs later. I just can't wait... any...more! XD ///maybe a tad bit too excited! rofl
Preview for last episode has TOO much of everything... for just one hour! I hope somehow they still do it well and tie everything up nicely (or close to...). *fingers crossed*
Leads story is dragging. Imagine if it was 20 episodes.... this would be a big chore to watch. I love them but Yan Fei needs to use her tongue and say 'pi%% off* to her ex-devil...hubby!
Joanna, Mark and Owen story is going somewhere... and it might be really good. Perfect time to let Mark use that head, for once. I want a big happy family and something tells me we might just be getting that. All this other negative talk is a no-no, until it gets real! I don't see how anyone can see Mark ending up with Joanna, even for a kid. YES, they should be there for that child but between them... there is just no love. What they had was a one night stand and what I don't see between them is... love. All this thinking about them forcing that love and them ending as a family without Owen is nonsense. This is Taiwan. I don't see 0.000001% of that happening. I see Owen, Mark and Joanna taking care of that little baby and giving that little baby love it deserves. That is if she does not do an abortion but right now, I don't think so. I am all for Mark and Owen if Mark really invests in this relationship and goes open with it. We saw some glimpses and I believe he will do it later on. But before that they will need to pass this big hurdle in front of them.... From the beginning till now, Owen is the only character, between the two, who I really grew to like and care about. SO, Mark got to give his best and fight with everything. I want my happy modern family!
Older couple is finally having their reunion in the next episode and I can hardly wait! I love them!!!
I miss those days when our comment section was mostly in sync with so much positive energy. When did it go wrong?…
So true. I was here reading few days ago and really loved the energy. Now, finished episode 22, all happy, though to come here and read comments... and they made me feel sad. Was thinking what happened to all the people that were here just... few days ago and when did it becoming, some sort, of ...fighting ground. It is sad. :(
When did (only) kisses and intimacy make a drama! And about Allen... I don't even want to start it. I think he is doing great with the character here and my introverted side is in love. lol
I thought after OAO everyone would be jumping of joy watching this... I actually am. But, no, people are asking what the plot here is... Hello? Hard earned happiness, maybe? I feel that some people did not even care to watch OAO! I can understand people having different opinions and saying it in a well mannered way but that is not what I've been reading here for past few minutes... :/
First two episodes (with subtitles) are up on VIU. :) They are free, you can use Thailand, Singapore or Philippines VPN if not in regions where VIU is available. ^^
I've read that spoiler up in IQIYI's synopsis for this drama. They don't know what spoiler is. XD So, people should not read synopsis in their app, ever!!!
On Viu u can watch it right after it aired with eng sub(VIP subscription needed), Viki ~11 hours after it aired…
Viu Philippines/Thailand no VIP subscription needed to watch it with Eng subs. :) /Only difference is that for Thailand it's in parts on VIU, while on Philippines version it's all in one! / On Singapore it is VIP, but I think it has more to do with it being 21+ and needing VIP so you can enable parental controls! /Same thing happened to Ossan's Love (HK version) in later episodes!/
I've been intrigued by the poster of this drama and wanted to start it for some time now. After this lovely article I plan to check it out in the coming weeks. Thank you and you both did great job with this article~ :)
