Not explained directly.
But my take is she was gifted in fighting, had innate strength and raw talent.

And if we look closer two battle scenes,
The first general - prior presence in the battlefield for hours ,had fighting with XW before her

The second general -a senior also a strategist of whole battlefield, had fighting with XZ, XW before her.

It's like her victories against two generals is combination of talent , timing and luck in my opinion.

Yeah, do I need clean cut CY fight in armor, yes .
