Ikr. That nostalgic charm is missing in trailer. Nowadays, most of kdramas are filled with aesthetic filters since aesthetic is trendy in kdramas. But that filter doesn't fit in all kind of dramas especially retro ones. As we have watched original version, everything almost was ordinary & raw. Nothing special effect or aesthetic but that was the charm we wanted coz that felt so realistic to us. As you said, that cover of NewJeans is meant to be opening song, then it'll be fine & good. But if they put it for cassette song (for time travelling) then it's not suitable.Last dance by Wu Bai & China blue hits different & feels nostalgic. I hope what you said will be true.

His character was written like that. He was mischievous & has naughty yet friendly personality in drama. & sorry if you dropped that drama just by watching only first two or three episodes then you are missing many things coz the actual plot didn't even started. & no I didn't felt the production was cheap coz it was 90s setup & everything was raw instead of bright & dreamy filters which is pretty unrealistic. Secondly, if he/she thinks Greg hsu is handsome & hot, good at acting then it's his/her preference, if you didn't felt the same way then ignore it rather than expressing to him/her he is looking bit weird meanwhile many of us loved their acting & it's totally fine having different opinions, you could have just said you couldn't able to connect with those characters or their acting coz it's normal many people couldn't connect with their acting or characters. Otherwise I respect your opinion.

Fr. & that 90s vibes is missing. & the filter they used were way too bright & dreamy which is not suitable for 90s scenes. I think trailer is hyped coz of that song. Becoz I believe not many people have watched org one. Personally, that song which is actually a cover of a 90s song felt modern to me rather than retro & old one. If they used original song instead of cover, maybe it could have been better I think.

It will be sequel of the drama,so I think movie will start where drama ended & will continue from it. Hence we will be getting more scenes of them than we got in series.

Agreed. After first two episodes, writing became weak I felt. Idk what but it lacked something when the story continued. I thought the story would be interesting & unique. It had good potential but unfortunately got messed up at the mid episodes & became ordinary kdrama thriller later.

Oh I get it. Thankyou for the explanation. Since we saw that XZQ had already sociopathic tendencies since childhood right? It was his older self (who was in his older brother's body) who encouraged his younger self more to become a sociopath such as killing insects, animals (that cat killing scene especially). I was confused coz such multiple timelines were really complicated in drama. Another scene where WQS & LZW confronted at airport, could you elaborate that scene a bit please? I mean WQS was living with HYX (2010) after entering into WQS's body but at the same time it was shown LZW who met with Mo jun jie & spent time with him after car accident (2003) in episode. Was that from different timeline but same time? If so, then how both of them were existed in same timeline (that airport scene + talking with uncle over phone) after plane crash, when he came to his own body, what about that old LZW who came to warn about future to WQS (himself) in airport. I am literally confused with this.

@Lil Ikr. Those people are really toxic who considers kdrama as superior than other dramas. Even I saw some people commenting taiwanese actors/actresses doesn't know how to act just watching only episode 1 then dropped it lol. Remake wasn't really needed for that drama coz it is already a masterpiece, however remake is already coming so hope it will be good but Taiwanese version will be always gold for us. Teaser of korean version seems off for me coz they weren't seemed suitable in high school setup. Didn't felt that 90s vibe, it seemed more like filter. Let's see how will be the remake.

This drama is really iconic & classic one❤ my first taiwanese drama ever & I loved it✨. I loved everyone's acting especially chia yen's. I attached to her acting since episode 1. Both characters are so different, I didn't felt it was same actress. She really handled playing dual characters very well😍 The vibes of those two characters were very different.Tho the starting episodes were really slow & I was about to drop it, I am glad I continued to watch it & it was worth it. One thing was really confused me, was that doctor really a psycho or his lil twin bro? didn't get it properly. I didn't understood the purpose of killing chen yun ru. I was confused he was mentally ill (schizophrenic) or his lil twin bro from future controlled his sub conscious mind coz he lusted after chen yun ru? Among twin brothers, which one was really innocent?

I loved taiwanese version 🤍 hope korean version will also be good tho I don't have that much high expectations since it's a remake. Original version will be always be gold. I wonder which song they are gonna use like in taiwanese version, Last Dance by Wu Bai was used for time travelling. That song & Miss you 3000 was really addictive❤
