On Busu no Hitomi ni Koishiteru Jun 4, 2023
I don't understand. The female lead is really pretty. Yes she's chubby but that doesn't make her less pretty. She's still beautiful, so is her personality. But I'm not surprised with the attitude of the company since it's the entertainment industry but it's still gross, they're the worst. However, the female lead is far from being ugly and whoever calls her that should see an eye doctor. I just finished the first episode and there are way too many clichés but I'm curious about how it'll go.

Title Gannibal Spoiler
because this show was so good, I hope for a season two. from the acting, to the cinematography, to the storytelling.…
Couldn't agree more. Apparently the manga is finished but hasn't been translated into English fully. And since I don't know Japanese I won't be able to read it anyway. I couldn't find much information about the ending of the manga either. But I'm actually okay if they don't renew the series for a second season and leave it like this, I think it's more realistic that way. The police has no concrete evidence to arrest the Gotos, and if they don't film a second season, we can just assume that Daigo and his family is dead. When it comes to the horror genre sometimes open endings are better, especially in stories like this. Honestly, all the efforts and deaths going to waste is more terrifying than a fully-resolved ending in my opinion because it's realistic, sometimes all of our troubles and struggles are for nothing and we're left with injustice. It's scary because it's rooted in something real. Like you said, the repeated cycle is a much more frightening way to end the story. With the villagers turning a blind eye to everything that happens in the village, the cycle is unlikely to end. If the manga is fully translated into English someday, I'd definitely read it since I liked the story so much.

Title From Me to You Spoiler
I actually watched the movie version of this a few months ago and ended up really enjoying it but for some reason…
I'd suggest you to watch it if you liked the movie. I know Miura Haruma was great as Kazehaya and I, too, loved him so much but I think Suzuka Ouji deserves appreciation too. Ouji, like Miura, radiates the best energy and has a sunshine-like personality in the series. I think both of them did a very good job. I don't think it gets angsty, it's mostly positive and mellow. Due to Sawako's personality and past, there are many misunderstandings between the characters but that's not much of a big deal because it's the same in the manga and anime too and it resolves pretty quickly. I don't remember Sawako in the movie much, because it has been such a long time since I watched it but Sawako in the drama does a good job too. She manages to be gloomy and cute and loving at the same time. But if you ask me the best version is the anime. Live remakes are good too but none of them gave me the same feelings that the anime gave even though it's literally an animation. But I have to accept that some scenes are dragged too much but I don't think it makes the series bad. I also might be a little bit biased because Kimi ni Todoke is one of my favorite animes and it was also one of the first animes I've ever watched, so I can't bring myself to speak negatively lol

The FL looks like a mixture of Nano from The Girl From Nowhere and a female version of Haru from Beautiful Man.Edit:…
I legit thought the female lead was the sister of the actor who played Hira in My Beautiful Man lol that's embarrassing. But they could easily pass as siblings in a drama or a movie. I also thought Nanno was Japanese or half Japanese half Thai when I first watched Girl From Nowhere. Her features and vibes look very Japanese. Both of them are very pretty.

The quality is slightly off putting actually
I don't know if there's a problem with the site I'm watching but especially the audio quality is indeed terrible at times. It makes a little bit hard to watch.

This again lol. Judging people is very easy nowadays. But no matter how I explain all the situations in that old…
Care to explain the context? He's allowed to have a preference about women but that's not the way to say it. He could've worded better. She obviously looked upset. Some people might not be comfortable with showing too much skin or any skin at all. It's not right to criticize people in an interview for their preferences. Of course he shouldn't be cancelled but people might get angry and react, it's only natural. Yes we don't have the right to change other cultures but we can comment on its shortcomings. This type of behavior shouldn't be a part of a culture. His act was very repulsive for a lot of people so we're allowed to react negatively. Korea isn't America, don't worry he's not going to be cancelled. Also, Korean actors have a lot of Muslim fans who wear hijab, so he came across as tone-deaf. Of course nobody can say anything about his private life and choice of woman but he could've refrained himself from saying something like that. Since they're always in the public eye, their acts and words will have various effects on people whether negative or positive. He used the word "prude" but since I don't know Korean I won't comment on it because it might be a lost in translation type of thing.

do i need to watch first season if i'm only watching for kentaro? ik he is also in s1 but does he appear often…
Hi, Kentaro appears in few scenes in season 1, in fact no more than 4 or 5 scenes if I had to guess. I, too, started to watch it for Kentaro but I was surprised to see that he's not much of a main character in the first season even though his presence as a character is very fundamental to the whole series. He's listed as the first actor in the cast list but he has very little screen time in the first season. But the second season is fully about him and if you ask me I'd say skip the first season and watch the second. We don't get to see him much in the first season, they just introduce his character. Of course there are some important stuff in the first season too but overall it's a little bit bland so I don't think you'd miss huge stuff if you skip it. Kentaro carried the whole show and the first season is building up the interest in the audience for his character because he's very mysterious.

Title Juvenile Justice Spoiler
how can a mother abandoned her kid even tho whatever she did was juvenile… and the way her partner just abused…
I thought so too. Considering what she went through her actions were understandable. Imagine two people (won't call them children) kill your child and get acquitted in just 3 minutes and also have the audacity to laugh at your face. I'd jump on them, don't care that they're children. I know this is a drama and probably law in South Korea doesn't really work like how they depicted in the drama but I heard that in Korea and Japan law goes easy on children. Just look into the outcome of the Junko Furuta case in Japan. Also another thing that enraged me was the mother-in-law. That woman had the audacity to hold Eun-Seok responsible for her grandchild's death. Bish if you lost a grandchild then she lost a child, her pain is worse than yours how dare you blame her? I don't know why I got so worked up on this lol

I honestly don't get the hype of this series. The male lead as Kiyoi doesn't really ring a bell as "beautiful"…
Beauty is subjective and yes he's a very beautiful man. Your tastes might be different, that doesn't make him ugly. I hate people who criticizes other people's appearances while hiding behind an avatar with only a letter.

Title High&Low: The Worst X Spoiler
Honestly I've watched Crow Zero once but I'm here again because of Yuta. I love him so much and would like to…
Yes, Yuta was spectacular. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Cross is his acting debut. It's like he was born to be an actor. Have to accept that I didn't know much about Yuta prior to watching the movie. He expressed so many emotions, I actually felt Suzaki Ryo's suffering. Having watched nearly every entry in the series, now I want a new drama where we get to see more of Housen, Suzuran and Senomon. I'd like to see why Kohei turned out to be the person he is. He must've gone through something bad to change that drastically. Being spoiled and born into a rich family (like it's stated in the movie) cannot be enough for someone to become that cynical considering that in the flashbacks he was actually a loving child and got along with Ryo very well. Or he just woke up one day and decided to be a jerk. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but because I liked Yuta's character so much I wanted to see their background in detail since it's obvious that he really cares about Kohei. It'd be better if they had written a much more detailed background story for them. We also need more Odajima & Todoroki, Fujio & Sachio-Rao and Ryo & Kohei interactions. Cross has easily become my favorite entry in the whole series.

Title Hiru Season 2 Spoiler
The second season was definitely better than the first season but still wasn't great. The plot twists were a bit predictable. For example, I predicted that Tetris was the masked killer before we even saw him murdering a leech in front of Hako. I also predicted that Nanashi was the one who killed Mishin, not the masked killer way before the last episode. It was not hard to predict these twists so I can't say I enjoyed it enormously. But for Sakaguchi Kentaro watching was worth it. I also liked Kara's and Hako's background.

Title Crows Zero
You should see the state of Oya High in High & Low!! -Another series!
Maybe the principal or something. I honestly can't imagine a teacher existing in Oya High lol Ofc the lack of any teaching staff is impossible in a normal functioning high school but H&L fans probably wouldn't want to watch a high school slice-of-life type of drama. If they added teachers and lessons into the script it would partly turn into a slice-of-life drama. Honestly I think it's better that way. After watching the latest H&L movie I can say that Suzuran has become my favorite. They should make a drama with the newer characters where we can see more of the students from Housen and Suzuran. Movies aren't enough lol

They said each others names every 3 seconds so that was a bit too much but its my first j drama so I didn't really…
As your first Japanese drama this isn't very good. But I hope that you didn't lose interest in J-dramas because there are a lot of good ones. It's just that Korean and Japanese dramas are vastly different so some people tend to feel uninterested towards J-dramas.

I didn't heard anything from Chinese and Japanese celebrities but maybe I overlooked it, I'm not sure. But Japanese…

I didn't heard anything from Chinese and Japanese celebrities but maybe I overlooked it, I'm not sure. But Japanese…
Kesinlikle.
