When you don´t want then just get the lowest certification and attend school for only 9 years.
I don´´t want to say I am smart but only a part goes to the higher school level....
Still the marks you get in grade 12 &13; are there to qualify for college. So there isn´t any difference^^

We have 3 different school´s to attend.
The lowest level(9 grade´s) and it´s the easiest but you hardly get any great job with it.
The average-level-school(10 grade´s in total). The school I visited until recently. You get a lot of better jobs with it and it´s a lot of harder than the the other school.
The there is A-level school(until grade 13 but recently it changed for a few kids to only 12 years) .It´s the hardest.
Only with THIS you are allowed to go to uni.

But it isn´t the common.Many people just graduate and then find a job. I managed to go to the further school though. You need good marks for that.

German school system is different.
We have three different school level. I just graduated from my school with grade 10.
I am going to another "A-school"the next 3 years^___^
