I think, given the same scenario in RL, parents with autistic children or children with development disabilities or physical disablities was given more love and affection. It's inert to parents, they give more care and attention to their children who they deemed "weak" moreso with disabilities. They're scared for their child's future so they're looking for someone who'd stay beside them.

I think part of their relationship growth is to settle everything first. KT and ST's problem for now. And yes, you can't compare brotherly love with romantic love, probably ST freaks out because he heard it from that nuisance guy spreading false "marriage scandal" thing, then when he confronted KT, he lied about it. We all know that ST can read facial expression and KT knows his brother more. If only he explained it to him like how he explained about Mang Tae, then probably it's a different scenario.
