With the mostly negative reviews, I'm surprised the drama is rated 8.5
It's funny that A LOT of early reviews were done when they've only watched 2-4 episodes ONLY (and from there keeps on updating the eps they've watched). I won't consider that as a review, imo. There's someone who gave 10/10 and said she based her review as a "woman", and goes on lusting over LMH and went stalker mode, like seriously?!?! Probably wait until this whole drama finishes and maybe you'll see some valid reviews who actually watched it until the end, before giving out their perfect 10. :)
Lmao, I actually thought that the bamboo forest scenes was the worst, then comes the ending scene, I was like... Wtf happened? What sorcery is this??? Kiss and kaboom!!! She didn't even noticed him leave? I am perfectly awake by the way (or am I?), so I was like, the hell?!?!?! I would from time to time fell asleep in between boring scenes. hahaha!
I feel rather emotional with SJ's scene with TE in front of the columbarium (not sure how/what is it called in Korea).I think that there's more chemistry in that single/particular scene compared to ALL LG and TE scenes put together, my opinion only. lol
I am cursed, no matter how bad the drama is, I'd still watch them 'til the end. My brain is leaking at the moment, lmao. There's no salvaging some of the scenes right now. *sigh* I hope they'd find a way to explain everything with the remaining 6 episodes. That's what I was thinking too, how come every heavily trained individual there was just standing? Are they waiting for LG's command or something? Should it be "fire at will" kind of scenario to protect the king? In real life, uncle and followers are all dead right there and then, no survivor. They can cover everything and people will believe if the palace release an official statement saying that those people were trying to assasinate the king. Who will know that his uncle was one of the casualties? Even the guards doesn't know the man. lmao. Also it's LG who announced it first in front of all the people by shouting his uncle's name (btw, in a very cringy way).
I can't explain how, when, where did they actually developed this deep, emotional heart wrenching love to act this way? Can TE act excited or thrilled, instead of being teary eyed??? I'm afraid we only have 6 more episodes to go and sad to say that during this time frame more or less, people close to the main leads starts to die (in dramaland) one by one. Also they gave us an out of nowhere, gapjagi type of scene where TE is covered in blood in the next episode. lol.
Is it only me or what? His uncle and his followers committed treason and by law they will be sentenced to death, no? So how come after the hostages were released, they were all allowed to walk freely? No hostage/s that time and the king's guards are behind them while they just walked casually? And why is he hiding the fact that his uncle was still alive? Just because he doesn't age???
