Yes ... you will hear from ChangGe dialogue over her mother's dead body ... crying and asking what is happening, why everyone is dead? Why grandfather (the emperor) is not doing anything but just turn a blind eye to everything that is happening? etc. That scene was quite sad. She was all alone, frightened out of her wits, saw her father's loyal right hand guard that turned out to be a traitor going after her life, not a clue what was happening, why her uncle suddenly killed everyone in her family, on a run for her life...

For me, it was the screaming of the parents and chasing after a grown child that ended for me. Hahaha. Maybe I will pick it up later.

Wow! The rating for this drama at doubon is ridiculously low at 6.3. It was at 6.4 and now the water army or haters have bought more people to vote it down lower. People can be so evil and disrespectful of the work of the artists and production team.

Considering that this was filmed during Pandemic, it's a good change. Can't imagine they do a large scale war scene with lots of extras on the set. :O

The drama added the manhua I guess to pay tributes to the manhua they are adapting the drama on. I have seen a few drama s that have a mix like this. So this is not new.

It's kinda nice once viewers get used to it and also we get to admire the beautiful works of manhua.

If only they were allowed to broadcast all 60 episodes instead of having to cut it to 56 episodes.

I guess a lot of people who loves TMOPB to bits are watching ELOB with biased view and then rate it down. They just don't get it and missed a beautiful drama.

I totally disagree with your statement. I have not invested in the leads yet I'm totally hooked on this drama right from the start.

I have not watched the leads of ELOD in TMOPB as I got bored with the story of BQ & YH. So I watched ELOD wuth unbiased view and without shipping the OTP. I don't even know who is FJ & DH in the story. I have to say ... ELOD hooked me right from ep 1. The story slowly unfolds and I'm always looking forward with anticipation on what happens next. I love how they showed FJ from a teenager maturing to be more responsible. I love the director makes the story flow easy for us viewers to understand and follow. Everything about ELOD is great. The casts, the clothes, the backdrop, the CGI, the songs ... awesome!

I have read that a lot of people are comparing ELOD with TMOPB. Please stop. It's so unfair to compare it as :

1) ELOD wasn't film with the same budget as TMOPB
2) Both are totally different story and different books.
3) ELOD is filmed based on the actual book and the directors & production team are doing a darn fine job bring this book live on screen.
3) ELOD is only broadcasted on 1 TV station vs TMOPB on several stations at the sane time. The amount of exposure is so huge for TMOPB vs ELOD.

How can one compare 2 different story as same story?

Lastly, if you have watched TMOPB and is a great fan of it, then i ask you empty your brain off everything about TMOPB and watch ELOB with no biase and view it based on its own merit.

First of all THIS DRAMA IS NOT A SEQUEL to Eternal Love Peach Blossom. It's a drama based on the original novel and I'm glad they stay true to the book.
PLEASE WATCH IT AS IT IS ON ITS OWN WITHOUT PREJUDICE. 

The casts are excellent. Vengo & Diliraba are doing a fantastic job as DH and FJ. No one else can be in that role except them. They really brought out the cold aloof yet shameless n flirty side of DH n cheeky n mischievous yet spunky, full of spirit FJ. I'm glad the director didn't do flash backs of DH trial but layout for us viewers to see and understand easily. It's less confusing. The story slowly unfolds and shows FJ growth from a young girly fox who is quite childish to mature up when she was made to understand that her actions have consequences and she has to be responsible for those consequences. Ep 21 is epic ... the acting of OTP is excellent. 

Now I'm enjoying the courtship of our OTP. I'm also beginning to enjoy little Ah Li. He is too funny. Yes he still looks like a girl but in real life there are little boys who are too handsome that are often mistaken as girls too n vice versa. The child actor is excellent. Ah Li is too wise for his age. Ep 25 & 26 are hilarious. Ah li & DH are definitely not helping FJ at all. One did it innocently while the other does it blatantly and shamelessly. Poor FJ is always outwitted by DH. ????

Love the friendship between FJ and Simin. Like I said before, even the supporting casts.... everyone is excellent in their role.
