Im currently reading. Currently on ep 48. Empress did love the emperor. They were childhood sweetheard. But grew apart over the years somehow. The story began with how shovishu brings a gal who got hurt by sovishu somehow. Eventually the gal becomes the concubine. It seems to me that Empress does get heartbroken a bit. But she is not that much bothered. Funny part is, sobishit himself brought a concubine but he cant bear when navi talks wih some other prince/dukes . He get jealous when empress talks with other guys but he does not get jealous when concubine has a guy friend. U will realize why ppl call sovisu as sovishit .
The relationship between navi and henrey (lee suk) is sooooo soothing 😍 lee suk is the playboy who doesn't even look at other gals when he fell for the empress
And then there was our emperor sovishit who brought concubine when having a pretty loving wife. There are more things even with these 48 episodes i have read. It has 237 episode i guess. Idk when i will read them all. Can't wait.

I wish they had better script. Yibo looked so fine❤️‍🩹 but i could not continue it

@dishi Well in my opinion, kdramas have better script. Their direction, execution are also great. I have found max kdrama (either romantic or action) to be capturing. Cant say the same about cdrama. Many might argue. But i haven't found much cdrama that i enjoyed. I mainly watch max of them bcz of my fav actors/actress.

Imagine him with the scripts like taxi driver. He is doing so much projects. But the scripts are lacking. Not Him. Just dont turn my comment into criticism of him or his choice of scripts. Because it is not.

Also just to clarify. I love him in the series. There is no hate on HIM .
