I think you are mistaken by the definition of beauty, the girls are pretty but they are not beautiful, WJY is not just pretty but is beautiful and gorgeous, if she was not the main lead here, I will shake my head and say, why is WJY not the lead when her looks stands out, she towers all the female in this drama. If you pick the any of those female one by one, you will know that they do not suit the role of the lead. Not Wanning, not the sister, not Jiang, not the young maid, not anyone.

Exactly my sentiment

I kept seeing some weird people saying that all women in the drama are prettier and younger than the female lead. I then kept thinking, if she was not the female lead, I would think "Wow that girl, WJY should be the female lead" None of the other girls in the drama have the looks and have what it takes to be the female lead. She is beyond gorgeous, pretty btw is not gorgeous, and WJY is gorgeous, gorgeousity, and astonishingly beautiful.

When they say age is just a number, it is not true, people are only age shaming her. Her body is younger than other younger girls. Maybe 20 years from now she will show sign of aging but not in the near future. The ML actually looks mature for his age, that this worked out. I remember as WYL in SOYP, she looks the exact same way, and I think she even looks younger now, and that was in 2017.

I think, he thought and knew the princess will kill all of them including XFF, since he knew that all the princess wanted is just XFF to be gone (divorce was not an option to the princess), not his family or him, so he sacrificed XFF, thinking all of them dead or just XFF is a better solution to his dilemma, then life goes on.

But XFF showed up alive, he wanted to believe she is a look alike despite knowing she is XFF. His body reacts to the lustful desire he felt for XFF (it is not love IMO), as his wife and lover, thus the yearning to be with her again. Then came XH, the thought of having his woman be with him ate him up and he was violently jealous. This is when he genuinely started hating Wanning and delusionally wanted XFF to forgive him and be with him again.

It is true, PW, loved and supported the princess always and forever, which he kept confessing to her, but the princess is stubborn because of her upbringing. now at episode 22, it confirms what I always suspected the SRQ is also reborn like the two leads. This is really interesting.

I think it is cute and funny, but the beginning was so disturbing, I taught the ML was ugly with his fake facial hair and all and felt sorry for my girl Zhao Jin Mai and thought, poor beautiful girl, married that ugly bastard. Amazingly the more I see him, especially the no facial hair HIM, I slowly find him more and more attractive, that I totally am in love with him too. I think the chemistry is slowly building.
