Now you say it, we really haven't seen any of her spies. that's kind of why I don't trust those two that Rong too used to get some supplies, idk, at this point anyone can have ulterior moves. Everyone except the Fu family seems lowkey evil, and I don't know for how long we can trust the Fu family members either. I mean I love Xuan but I wouldn't be surprised if her character took a dark turn too?
Yeah the way An prince is taking things already seems dark, and he has like 25 episodes left to become even worse. Like, by now I don't even consider him as a real second male lead anymore, he's more an enemy of duke su than a love interest for Rong.
(Also, while typing this I realised that the switching between Duke, Prince and their first names is starting to get confusing and lowkey annoying, I'm a bit surprised that the subs aren't more consistend in it)

even if the dreams and visions are correct (which i personally highly doubt) I wouldn't be surprised if rong would've lost a bit of her fight. if all happens what she's afraid of happening and everything is against her, with no allies she might eventually loose her strength and spirit.
but once again, i really doubt it. I just hope rong can find a way around it and have even a bit of happiness in her ending.

Ah yeah I can understand your reasoning. I have watched a lot of palace based shows and some even had vilians that would go as far as poisoning, murdering the fl etc... not seeing Xihe doing this anytime soon.

I totally agree on you with the villain thing - there used to be times that I was legit scared of the villains abilities and what they would do to the FL, but unless the princess suddenly becomes really smart, it seems there won't be much hope for that.
If only we could get away as "easily" as with Rong marrying a commong man... duke su just had to appear and I already know there is going to be so much suffering dear lord

I'm also waiting for the moment Prince An / Ju Shui gets himself involved again in politics. I feel like we will have to reach a certain point in which so much goes to shit that we need his help.

The solar eclilpse was something I did definitely /not/ see coming. Also why do I feel like we have to treasure every good episode before everything goes to shit and we will cry daily.

LMAO called it not An prince coming in when he felt he could get some out of actually being political for once. I have a feeling An prince can make a whole lot of problems for duke Su and cause a whole lot of grieve for Rong just to get revenge.

First of all, I love everything but I can't stand awkward humor so I had to skip through that awkward match making session. I lowkey wish Rong would protect her own image more, even though I totally understand why she wants to get out of all those match making session. The whole rock thing wasn't the best cinematic part of the show but hey, it did it's job. The hand holding thing was adorable, I love how Rong tried to lift up Su, rather than mourn about her sad stuff too. Also I loved the fancier dress she got.
Now on to stuff I did not like - our dear princess Xitle, or what her name is. She acts like a legit child - and thats saying a lot because not even Rong is that mature, but Rong feels old compared to her. She's whiny and if the duke ends up marrying her and making Rong his concubine I'm gonna cry because we will have to /suffer/. Also, why does Fu Xuan trust their master so easily? Is it not suspicious at all that their master has such people ready forh er, digging through dirt, and making them lie to their parents? I mean I understand that the lying part was for the greater good but ehh it seems to suspicious to not question.
oh and this might be quite strange but I don't trust duke su's healer anymore? It really feels like he did something with the medicine he got from the apothecary
lmaoo me, I didn't untill I saw some critique on it, and decided to pay more attention. I wanted to see where they were coming from but it seems like either our opinions just don't match or my knowledge on makeup, hair and fashion is 0
Also due to a conversation, I had before about the FL's makeup and styling I took more notice of it, but it seems like I'm one of the few that's not really bothered by it? The makeup isn't anything special but fits her and her hairstyle is cute. The only comment I have is that her dresses aren't anything spectacular, but I guess that's too because of her status.
I really should just watch the show with my laptop and your character cheat sheet next to it.
