I finally took this off my "hold" list and have had a marathon this weekend. I've really enjoyed it but I am so confused by something: why do they call Seo Byung Hoon
"Il Rok"? I actually was thinking his name was Il Rok ( which is interesting since Lee Jong Hyuk had a similar name in A Gentleman's Dignity) until around episode 14. Someone please explain. I know I'm missing so ething. :(
I prefer a modified/literal mix. While there are times when a literal translation does not convey the meaning (like the hilarious one above) there are times when modifying too much definitely takes away from the meaning. I understand enough Korean to know that there is a relationship difference between calling a man "ajusshi" rather than "Hyung" (male) or "Oppa" (from a female).
Ok, I want to nominate a few more for this list: Joo Sang Wook, So Ji Sub, LeeSang Yoon...and I can't believe Rain didn't make the list - what were you thinking? :D
