@lovehj Because of the poison by Qiu Li, Hou Chi might die if he continues to love Shi Xia more so in order to cure the poison, Hou Chi needs to drink the forgetting love potion. Therefore, Shi Xia had no choice but to let Hou Chi drink so he won't die😭😭😭

After watching Love and Redemption, it's been 1 year, after meeting Si Feng, I realized all I think is about how to protect the ones I love😭
Si Feng taught me so much about guarding the person you love💞
The impact Si Feng protects and guards Xuan Ji is so strong that it actually gave me all the feelings to want to go and protect the ones I love too :')
I want to say, even after a year, Si Feng still remains the top number 1 most favorite fictional character in my heart💖 Thank you to my dear Cheng Yi gege for portraying Si Feng and bringing his character to live, I'm really glad to meet Yu Si Feng💗😊💗

When Han Ding went to find Prince Guang, I was like no no no, it's impossible for Han Ding to betray Qi Yan and yeah, I was right haha, it turned out that when Han Ding was asked to work for Prince Guang, Qi Yan told Han Ding to follow with their plan, so it was Qi Yan's idea after all. As always loving the loyalty Han Ding has towards Qi Yan💖

I remember Qi Yan said something like he only trusts Ruo Yu, Han Ding and Huai Zhi, and the people he trusts are indeed very loyal to him :')

I always love the friendship between Han Ding and Qi Yan like Wu Zhi Qi and Si Feng from Love and Redemption too hehe💖

I want to say, I love these two characters very much, they touched my heart deeply throughout the entire Stand by Me :')

Firstly, she is Cheng Ruo Yu, our female lead. From the beginning, she is already very brave, kind-hearted, courageous, strong, and most importantly, she is so loyal to the extend that it's so unbelievably admirable. Even Qi Yan said himself, that no matter how many times he chased her away, she still definitely come back for him and be there to accompany him through all those tedious obstacles, through life and death💖😭💖 Ruo Yu is prepared and very determined to guard him even though it will risk her life, her loyalty really is a true gem, it's so difficult to see such a character like Ruo Yu who portrayed loyalty this beautifully at the peak. She left me a very deep impression, definitely one of the best female lead ever. Also, she has never hurt Qi Yan even once, always believing him and what's right in her heart even if she found out her identity.

Next is Yan Xiu, we can clearly tell his true love for Yan Zhi at the start and all I see is the support and loyalty he gives to Yan Zhi. He works only for Yan Zhi, listening to her every command even if it's against the entire Jiang Qi Ying. He ensures that he tries his best every mission Yan Zhi gives him. Every single time Yan Zhi got caught from Qiu Zi Liang, he finds all sorts of reason to make sure that it's entirely his fault but not Yan Zhi at all. He is always there for Yan Zhi at the most tough moments and even if he knows about Yan Zhi's plan, he is still willing to support her though it's really difficult for him. The loyalty he has towards Yan Zhi gives the courage for Yan Zhi to continue her plan successfully and not to give up. I really love the chemistry between Yan Xiu and Yan Zhi to the standard that I really want to know about their past, like how they meet etc :') Hoping they will debut again in another drama as main leads💖😭💖

Throughout the entire Dream of Chang'an/Stand by Me, it truly portrayed loyalty beautifully. I love how we can clearly see the loyalty of each character towards the ones they want to support :')

Ok, let's all agree that Xuan Lu (Yan Zhi) is the best sister ever whether in Stand by Me or The Untamed😭💖😭💖😭

Oh my god, ok, after watching episode 24, I had to literally change my game name (in my most favorite game) to '与君歌悲しいけど好き (Stand by Me is sad but I'm loving it)' :') 🤣😭

I was so happy that the game actually allowed me to type 与君歌 (Stand by Me) since they only allow maximum 10 characters, English letters and Japanese words lmao🤣😭 Anyways, my game name was successfully changed haha uwu

It's like I'm hoping to tell everyone in this universe that I love Stand by Me so much, spread the love!!!💖💖💖

Episode 24 is so heartbreaking.
For Qi Yan, he just wanted Ruo Yu to tell him the truth about Cheng Xi. The way he expressed himself, he really wanted to hear the truth from Ruo Yu when he first asked her.
For Ruo Yu, standing at her perspective, we will think for our family too, the consequences that Ruo Yu's aunt will receive if she tell Qi Yan the truth at the very beginning, so she hesitated and still thinking of any ways to convince her aunt not to continue the plan, I guess it's difficult for her to believe her aunt actually betrayed Qi Yan, that's why she didn't want to tell Qi Yan till she figure out herself but time wouldn't wait unfortunately.
The first answer was not what Qi Yan wanted to hear, so it just entirely broke his heart, the two people whom he trusted the most, one completely betrayed him and the other, he's lost and don't know whether he can trust his most beloved person again or it was all a plan. Looking back at those moments with Ze Ning, this time, he really don't want to lose his faith again, so it was quite heartbreaking to see him with anger and sadness :'(
On the other side, I'm kind of glad Ruo Yu didn't join hands with her aunt but instead, continuing to stay loyal to Qi Yan and still wanting to be there for him. And though they had the Violet Bureau's mission, it was sad seeing Ruo Yu leaving her home, but that represents she actually values her responsibilities, and is aware of what she wants to do, to guard Qi Yan and the nation.
I had to pause several times while watching Episode 24 to make sure I can control my tears.
Also, the moment Yan Zhi was the only one there for Ruo Yu when she has nowhere to go, it was so touching, the sisters' bond though they still don't know they are actually sisters :') I'm very excited to see how Ruo Yu and Yan Zhi work together in the upcoming episodes uwu
