Orignally, ZYM already had scripts ready for her small role. She volunteered to be a mute, to compete YM film Baby where YM was also a mute. He agreed instantly. Some say it can be ZLY's wariness of her weaknesses in speech delivery. However he also allowed her to buy tons of drafts saying YM cannot act mute the way she can. He also allowed her stepping all over the leads, she bought tons of drafts saying they mistreated her out of jealousy. He dumped his valuable reputation for her, as if he is reliant on her crazy marketing but not the ability of his talent.
To say he really favors her, that's undeniable. To say he doesn't really favor her, eh... can be true too in a way. Since she is very insecure of him. How I know she's insecure of him? She continuously pleaded she wants another collaboration but he hasn't answer yet, but shown interest in Yang Zi instead. I'll just briefly say she did lots of dirty marketing on Yang Zi, don't want her trolls to pick on me for over exposing.
