I thunk the same, it will be difficult for FL to manage the hotel,in one trailer someone even splash water on her. And poor ML he wants this so badly to have some sort of happiness, I mean he couldn't get any happiness from relationships its logical to turn to money and power. I wonder if granny left them letters explaining why she made this decision. And of course FL mother will be even more annoying. This type of characters remain me Jane Austen writing. My thoughts about FL mother. She wants for her kids the best. Best things in her own view. It's a big house, not like hers, stable and well-paid job not like her, be wealthy and so on. She wants for her kids everything she couldn't give them, probably is a guilt in it. In addition to that she thinks she knows better about life than kids and husband. She is focusing on the wrong things because to secure wealthy and stable life for her daughter she destroys relationship between her and FL.
