one of the main characters "dying" and then mysteriously coming back to life years later with absolutely no explanation. I get that a lot of these details might be in the original scripts or novels but srsly I would rather get the last episode of them being happy together after defeating evil and not this sad bs where you know the other character is obviously gonna appear in the last scene.
Honestly the friendship between the guys is what kept me watching. The plot felt a little incoherent and non-sensical at parts. Maybe my expectations were too high but I really wish I had liked this more. Overall not a bad drama but I wouldn't rewatch :/
awfully weirdly paced. The last two episodes were a complete mess and that glimpse of some possible chemistry was definitely just my hopeful thinking. I could barely call this a romantic drama.
I don't think I was emotionally prepared to watch the last episode because now I'm having an insanely difficult time rating this. ONe of the best kdramas of 2023 for sure but I'm not sure if it's a 10/10. A lot of the court and law aspects were way too unrealistic, even for someone who has absolutely no idea how that stuff works. Like I'm pretty sure you can't be a prosecutor in a case that you are personally connected to and are even a suspect in. But the relationships and acting in this drama are by far superior to anything else I've watched in a while. A beautiful drama about a parent-child relationship that had its difficult times.
I don't know if I'm simply overly emotional today but episode 12 might be one of my favorite episodes of all time. I sobbed at that hospital scene and when Kang Ho saw the twins again. Lee Do Hyun is truly one of the most talented actors right now. This drama shows how insanely versatile he is as an actor, incredibly impressive.
it's one thing to drag in place and have absolutely no development but now she is sick again?? and the cheating husband wants to donate his liver so he can always remind her that she should be good to him or some shit. I need to talk with these writers bc wtf. I though we were gonna get her arc of getting really good at her job and realizing that she doesn't need a man. Roy is great but she doesn't need to chose. But now the dudes are fighting over whose liver she takes?? I need this drama to end asap.
No one is going to talk about the poor guy, who has been charged with murder because of KanHo! Or did I miss something? The…
I would assume that Kang Ho told him that it would be safer for him to take the blame for now and he would get him out when he has enough evidence. I really don't believe he sacrificed that guy's life just to get on Song Woo Byeok's side.
Kang Ho needs to recover asap because wtf. All that pain and hard work just for the mom to decide that it's too dangerous.. I'm so serious I hope that was just one of his backups because he knows the mom would do that. I gotta say this is one of the best dramas I've ever seen. It's not always that you can simultaneously hate a character and sympathize with them at the same time. I understand the mom's reasoning in a way but it doesn't change the fact that she ruined her son's life. I hate the fact that I understand her being worried for her son's safety but what about everything that Kang Ho sacrificed and promised to all those victims? ... Please I need Kang Ho to make that magic kdrama recovery asap.
I love Woo Do Hwan but this drama was a bit boring. The beginning was pretty good but it got somehow very uninteresting in the later episodes. I have nothing against the FL actress but her character was way too boring and the chemistry was pretty much non-existent..
Yikes I feel bad for the actors. The story had potential with all the past trauma, abusive ex and anxiety disorder plotlines but they didn't have enough runtime at all. This drama just felt very very rushed from the beginning till the end. Some of these writers and producers seriously have to realize that you can't jam back a plot like this if you want a coherent drama. This was a mess and I feel bad because the actors weren't bad at all and the plot actually had potential.
