Both the drama of jisoo is not the usual idol actor kind of drama which usually caters to the younger audiences...both snowdrop n newtopia won't appeal much to the young audiences instead they are for more mature audiences so bp fans or kpop fans in general aren't the target audience so stating that newtopia is successful only because of blackpink fans is not accurate

If I remember bts V had a drama although cameo but that drama ranked so bad in korea...so BP may have kpop fans but kpop fans aren't necessarily into drama n series especially series like newtopia which has such unique concept need mature audiences as many binge watcher may not connect within the humour n context of the series...so newtopia is actually setting so well with large number of korean audiences...
